Chapter 1 - No more Grief, Time to get back on track

Calum died

Mark died

Skylar died

20 Other hybrids died

15 were hero's companions

the other 5 belonged to James

The group toke there friends deaths hard.

Cameron was locked in her room for a full week crying over mark, didn't even come out to eat. Endra would always bring her food dinnertimes or right before she went to bed.Sometimes she never ate at all and others she was stuffing her mouth like no tomorrow

Amelia found Skylar's death the hardest over the while they had known each other she started thinking of Skylar as the sister she never had. she moved into Tyler's room

Tyler, he was upset for losing his friend. He wasn't as close to him as he is Bryan but, they were close and he missed Calum and there fun times together but just like Sam he hid it. Amelia seen through it though and helped him through it as he helped her

Bryan got sick of Amelia in their room, so he went and took her bed in Sam's room which she didn't mind at all. the only problem was she didn't talk much

Sam still hated the fact that she had to kill James. its was tough, something she didn't think anyone should go through and to make it worst she started dreaming about it. James voice taunting her in her sleep making her feel worse. she hated it waking up hours before sun rise in a cold sweat not being able to get back to sleep, she had started going to the training room to train but she didn't last an hour before she was huddled in the corner of the room with tears running down her face going through the events of the battle, the lives that were taking and that one moment where she toke a live.

Rain she had blamed her self for Calum's death. She had almost killed him, and if it wasn't for that and her argument with Sam distracting him, he could have defended him self and maybe just he still would have been alive. But sadly things don't always work out the way you wish they could. her sister would comfort her every chance she got

Sam had fallen asleep early once again which was logical from her lack of sleep the past week and she refused to sleep the night before because she didn't want to have to face her dream

the sand under her feet was warm as she walked along the beach she smiled watching he dolphins playing under the horizon, when the dream shifted to James standing right across from her

"What do you want!?" Sam exclaimed look at him

"How do you feel? killing me I cold blood huh?" James asked with his evil laugh

"I never killed you In could cold blood" Sam mumbled "I didn't even want to kill you... but I had too"

"what was that? You HAD too" he mocked and as he did a crowd of people appeared "Hey everyone! she had to kill me"

"Stop please, the only way to free the others was to kill you the potion you used had yours and your guards blood seal"

"Nope, you're a monster. Once you start killing you always will" he stated which had her taken back a bit

"You're. A. Monster" he stated

Sam woke up to Bryan shaking her

"What's wrong Sam? you kept repeating James's and saying your not a monster"

"nothings wrong okay, I'm fine" she spoke rolling over

"no your not" he got into the bed next to her and turned her around "you can tell me anything, alright?"

Sam nodded tears in her eyes and told him about her dreams and sleepless nights and the the training room she told him everything and by the time she was done she was so tired than she fell asleep before Bryan could reply and she didn't care it was just nice to get it off her chest. Bryan smiles softly pulling her close.

The next morning Herobrine thought it been long enough,

2 weeks since the battle and the girls never even practice there new powers all they did was sob. He was tired of it.

"Eiden?" he called

"yes Herobrine?" Eiden answered running in

"Is everything prepared as planed?" hero questioned

"Just as you asked" Eiden smiled

hero nodded pleased and got the Enderman to teleport everyone in the room

"Now that I finally got you out of your rooms and here we got important matters to discuss" Herobrine addressed

"another battle?" asked Tyler feared

"No! nothing of the sort." Herobrine answered as he turned to look at the girls

"You six have taken to long grieving and done no training of any sort!" Herobrine Affirmed "Sam don't grief over James death, you're not a monster! you are what you think you are and his death was for real good reason same as Calum. Rain, if Calum never died in that battle than you will not become the person you were meant to become, same goes with you Cameron mark sacrificed his life for yours because he knew it wasn't your time to die. He knew you were meant for great things. Skylar she had a lot to learn and she could have gotten there that death can not be put on us but James for his command on doing it and as for the others it was there choice to fight"

the 8 stood in awe at what he just said and he let out a sigh

"What I'm trying to say is you guys had your time for grief now its time to get back to work, you never know when the next evil will come" Herobrine smirked "Lets get back to training"

we all groaned and the guys went to leave considering they didn't have to be there but Herobrine stopped them with one swift move of his hand the doors closed

"ah ah ah not so fast boys" Herobrine grinned "Eiden will be training you guys"

Eiden teleported next two the boys taking there hands and teleporting them away

"You know what at least this will get our minds off everything" Sam cheered

"Whatever lets get started" Rain groaned obviously not wanting any part in it

Herobrine smiled taking there hands and teleporting them outside

"First the basics, Sam 16 speed laps , blaze and rain fly 16 laps Endra teleport to each flag around he course 13 times, and Cameron run 14 while Amelia jogs 13" hero ordered

Sam finished first, Cameron and blaze finished about the same time after than Endra and rain and Amelia.

"each was suited to your powers from before because you cant always depend on your elemental powers" he told them as they chugged from there water bottles and sat out of breath "now run 5 laps with out any kinds of powers at all"

hero spent the rest of the day teaching them to fight without there powers and each off them traded tips and techniques

"Tomorrow morning at sunrise I want you all here" Herobrine demanded "we will work on your normal powers for an hour or two than our elemental"
