Percy's POV

I peered over at my new cabin mate curious to the mystery that lurks beyond the surface. I knew there was more than she was telling us. From her crazy look to how mysterious she was about being my step sister, I grow more and more weary. We all head up to the fire to give our offerings. After a second of hesitation I pull along Danny as to not cause any unnecessary attention. When doing so all the campers look at her as my force pulls her down. In a moment of stupidity I compulsively say,

"Quite the scientist you are testing gravity like that"

"You, little," Danny screams embarrassed. Her anger grows and Annabeth sees the power growing in her eyes.

"Percy move," She yells, but not soon enough. The water crashes down and a full fledged war begins. All of the campers sit entranced enjoying the little show that was put before them.
"Percy, stop it!" Annabeth yelled, running toward the infuriated boy.
     "No!"
Exhausted, Danny fell to her knees, crying. Percy backed off, red in the face and stormed off to his room. The other campers looked dolefully at Annabeth, then were herded back to their cabins.

Danny is to spend the night in the infirmary, and it was clear that Danny and I had some issues to deal with.

I held my hand in my face and groaned. I didn't want to start this but now I have to deal with this. I don't know what Annabeth thought of me, and I didn't want to know. I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling until Danny walks in along with Grover, Who was donning a disappointed look.

I asked Grover if I could speak to Danny alone.

"Sorry, Perce as much as I want to I'm on strict orders not to leave you alone and potentially let you murder each other," Grover belted nervously as if he expected me to hurt him. I was deeply hurt knowing this is how he thought of me; how everyone thought of me now.

But what was worse was what my- our- father now thought of us. Was he disappointed? I heaved a heavy sigh and laid on my bed, staring daggers at Danny. She look sad, but I could tell in her eyes she was scared. Of me? Of tomorrow?

I honestly could care less. If she was scared of  me I could use it to my advantage!

"Are you staying here the whole night?" Danny asked Grover, chancing a worried look in my direction.Grover gave an awkward glance to me, also. I hated how he now acted like I was a ticking time bomb ready to explode. It was all because of Danny. "Well, it depends. Are you going to control yourself?" She whispered quietly into his ear: "I'm scared." "Percy?" Grover inquired. "No promises." I turned grumpily on my side and attempted to fall alseep. All of a sudden there was a loud knock and Grover went up and got up muttering, "Probably Chiron, making sure I'm not dead" I mocked him, causing Grover to turnaround in a huff before seeing to the door. He opened it up and picked up a package. "It's for you," He said handing the package to Danny. I took a quick peak at it and what I saw got my blood boiling. It was from our dad, Posidon. Danny's PoV I opened the package, eager to see what my father, my actual father, not some adoptive dude, had sent me.
Inside was my favorite notebooks, my abundance of pens, and my owl stuffed animal. I found a note settled on the bottom in handwriting I had seen once before.
I had received a card on my tenth birthday from an anonymous sender in this hand writing. Now I knew it was from him.
"A letter from him?" Grover asked, peering down at it. I nodded, starting to read it.

Danny,
I hope you find the few belongings you had enjoyable for your stay. I'm sure you and Percy will find a better alliance, but for now just try. Good luck, and be careful.

He had actually written. That was odd.
"Well, I suppose I should get going. Scream if your dying. Good night." Grover laughed, exited the cabin and disappearing into the dark.
I fell back on my bed, facing the open room, and fell asleep to the sound of the humming bugs out side.

Percy's PoV...

I awoke the next morning to find that my step sister wasn't just a dream, meaning nothing of last night was either. I fell out of bed, sprawled onto the floor.

"Percy?" I craned my head to  find Annabeth staring at me funnily. I sit up and wait for her to yell at me.

"It's time for breakfast. Head out, I need to talk with your sister." She finally explains.

"No sister of mine." I muttered.
