I'm Kellin Quinn or as the school calls "Know it all Quinn" I can't help that school is my favorite thing, I enjoy learning, I enjoy doing homework, I enjoy having straight A's, so call me what you want, I'm on my way to graduating as Valedictorian, and nothing or no one is going to stop me.

My thoughts are interrupted when none other than the devil himself starts talking. Oliver Sykes, he doesn't ever pay attention to the teachers, slacks off, flirts with everyone but once his all too mighty father, the principal of the school notices, he tells his teachers not to fail him. Are you kidding me? I can't stand him, he makes my skin crawl and my blood boil, and everytime he so much as talks I want to yell at him.

I heard the sound of the intercom come on. "Hello Mrs. Mullins can I have you send down two students for me?" Mr Sykes asked. "Of course and who should I send down?" She replied in her sweet voice. Mrs Mullins is one of my favorite teachers. "Oliver Sykes and Kellin Quinn please." "Will do."

"Alright boys you heard the man." I let out a groan. I hate missing class. "Awh know it all quinn sad he's missing important class time?" Oliver fake pouted as we walked out of the classroom. "Can it Sykes, at least I'm smart enough to get A's and I don't just get them handed to me." I smirked back. The rest of the walk to Mr Sykes office was quiet. I really wonder why he needs to see me, I never do anything bad. I'm never late, nothing. I'm a good student.

We walked into his office as Oliver jumped down into a chair and I polietly sat down. "Ah yes boys glad you could come in." Mr Sykes says walking in the door taking a seat behind his desk. "What do you need pops, you're cutting into my class time." Oliver said. "As if you pay attention anyway" I said quietly. "What was that?" Oliver snapped "Boys I didn't bring in here to argue." Mr Sykes looks at us sternly. "Oliver, the board has noticed your attendance and has also taken a look into your grades." "and your point?" "that means in order to graduate you have to get at least a 95 on a test they are going to give you, and you also can't miss anymore school." I just stared in shock, Oliver is going to have to do work? What does it have to do with me though? "What if I don't score 95 or higher, and I miss more school?" Oliver asks. "Well it means you won't be able to graduate, and that's a negative thing on our school, no one has never not graduated from here. Oliver you need to take this seriously." I decided to butt in. "Why am I here though?" "Ah yes mister Quinn, I know you are one of our best students here, and I was hoping you could tutor Oliver for a while, just to help him pass this test." "I don't really have a say in this do I?" I ask. "No you don't but we really do need your help." I let out a sigh "Okay I'll help" "Great I've set up a tike everyday which you both will meet for 4 hours." 4 hours with Oliver, lord please help me. "Oliver I need you to actually show up, please son?" "fine whatever dad." he gets up and storms out of his office. "Thank you Kellin." I smile and nod. I walk back into class and take my seat, next to Jack. "So what was all that about?" he whispers to me. "I have to tutor Oliver everyday for a while." "well how long every day?" "4 hours dude, I can barely handle, 50 minutes in a class with him how am I supposed to handle 4 hours without strangling him?" "willpower my friend willpower" I laughed at his statement before returning back to my work.

Oliver isn't going to take this seriously and I know it.
