The ride

I sat up in bed and looked out the window. It was one beautiful day. Today is going to be perfect. I got up and took a shower. I got dressed, and then did my make-up and hair. I looked into the mirror. Took a deep breath, and went downstairs to get some breakfast. Mom had already had my favorite cereal ready for me. She is the only one that knows what's going on today besides Jake,Taylor, Toby, Gabby,and Alex. I finished eating and headed for the door when Dad stopped me in the door way. "Where do you think your going?" He said in his funny daddy voice. I just laughed. "Daddy, come on, it's the first day of summer! Can you just please accept the fact your daughter is graduating next year?" I say messing around with him. He chuckles "I MEAN where do you think your going without giving your old man a hug?" I giggled and gave him a hug. I walked outside to my big red truck. I hopped in and started it. I shifted it into gear and headed down the road to pick up Alex then Gabby. The boys were going to meet us at the park at 12:30. I looked down at the clock, it read 10:30. I pulled into Alex's drive way. I got out and walked to her door. I walked in as I knocked. "Hey! Anyone home?!" I yelled as it echoed through the house. I guessed everyone was gone. But I decided to check Alex's room anyway. I walked up the stairs and into her room. She wasn't there. Then it hit me. I forgot she slept out in the trailer last night. I when back down stairs and locked the door behind me. I walked across her rocky drive way and opened the door. I step into the trailer, and the smell of wood hit me in the face. I ignored the smell and walked into the big room. There she was, sleeping like a log. "WAKE UP!" I yelled as I jumped on to the bed landing right next to her perfectly. She woke up and sat up to quickly and hitting her head on the ceiling. "Damn it!" She yelled holding her head in her hands. I couldn't hold my laughter in any longer. I was laughing so hard my stomach started to cramp up, And nothing was coming out of my mouth. She punched me in the arm really hard. "OW! what the hell!?" I screamed knowing her exact answer. She gave me the look and got up and walked into the "kitchen" and made some toast. "What are you doing?" She said to me sitting down at the table. I sat down next to her with annoyed look. "You know exactly what I'm doing here." I said kind of coldly. She chuckled and threw her crust at me. It landed on the table so I picked it up and ate it. She looked at me and made fun of my eating. I got up and walked to her bed and got her clothes and make up and threw them at her. She caught both of them and laughed as she walked into the bathroom. She came out about ten minutes later. "Alright, let's go get Gabby before she has a fit for not picking her up on time" I said looking at my phone re-reading the text she sent me the night before. She wanted to be picked up at 11:00. We Both hopped into the truck and we headed down about five blocks and pulled into Gabby's drive way. We were 3 minutes early. She was out side all dressed and everything playing in the front yard with her little brothers. I honked to get her attention. She jumped and her little brothers started laughing. She ruffled their hair as if she was their mom. She opened the passenger door and Alex moved to the middle. Gabby hopped in and shut the door. "Buckle up guys, I don't want both moms coming after me!" I teased. They both giggled as they buckled up. I pulled out of the drive way and headed down to discovery park. Us girls had to get the table reserved. We pulled into the park about five minutes later. We were about to get out of the truck when all of the sudden our song came on "shut up and dance with me". We stayed in the truck for about another three minutes. As the song ended we all spilled out of the truck laughing. We sat up the table and got everything ready. We decided to play on the tire swing and playground while waiting for Toby, Jake, and Taylor. We all started to get sick from the spinning so we went back to the table. The boys showed up about 15 minutes later. " Hey baby!" Jake said leaning down kissing my head. I smiled as he sat down next to me and setting the Wal*Mart bags on the table. Taylor sat next to Alex and Toby sat next to Gabby. "So? Where is the food and shirts?" Gabby says kind of Impatient. Taylor and Toby chuckled softly and put the other two bags in the table. Jake pulled out our sandwiches and handed them all out. I bit into my sandwich from Arbys. Oh my gosh!! This is the best sandwich I've had in months!! I thought to my self. I guess I was making faces because everyone at the table was laughing very hard at me. I looked up sort of clueless. "What!? I haven't had these kind of sandwiches in months!" I said kind of annoyed. Jake looked at me with a smirk. I shot him a look of confusion. "Oh go get a room!" Toby and Taylor said in usion. Jake let out a small laugh. Gabby and Alex were trying not pay much attention do they could eat. "You boys are Such dicks!" I complained. Toby, Taylor,and Jake all had these wide smiles painted all across their faces and look at us girls. I guess it scared Alex and Gabby as much as it scared me because we all scooted away from the guys too.
