Chapter 9

---Espi---

I watched as Jake talked to Veronica. Gerard went with her too. Jake is so sweet...so much nicer and better than Andy...I think I really like him...I saw Jake come walking towards me with a smirk on his face and he was shaking. He walked up to me and gave me a hug. My heart skipped a beat as he relessed from the hug and took my small hands in his. He looked me straight in the eyes and I felt myself get all nervous inside.

Jake: "Listen, Espi...I know that we have only know each other for a little while, but I feel like I've known you my whole life. When I'm with you I feel like I've found my other half...I guess what I'm trying to say is...Espi, Will you be my girlfriend?"

Me: "Jake...I...I don't know what to say..."

Jake: "Please say yes...I can take care of you. I won't let you be hurt by anyone anymore and I will never, and I mean NEVER, hurt you like Andy did. You far to important to just up and leave or to not care about. Andy is an idiot for letting you get away. But I'm not stupid and I know a great thing and woman when I see one. And you that great woman Espi."

Me: *hugs Jake tight and whispers in his ear* "Yes Jake. Of corse I'll be your girl friend."

Before I knew it, Jake yelled to tell Andy we're dating and Andy seemed heart broken. He ran off with tears in his eyes and I almost wanted to go after him, but Jake grabbed my hand, kissed my forehead, and ran towards his best friend. I step off of the bus and to the left of me I see Veronica and Gerard playing soccer. I decide to be a stalker And climb onto the top of the bus to watch them play. From there I can also see Jake and Andy in their heated conversation. Veronica kicks the ball, getting it past Gerard and making it into the goal. She jumps up and down And is screaming and Gerard goes and playfully tackles her to The ground and they start rolling. Once they stop, I see Gerard lean down and kiss Veronica and she kisses back. After about 30 seconds, Veronica stands up and starts walking fast towards the bus and Gerard walks away from it. I hop down off the roof and step in front of the nearly running Veronica.

Me: "What was that?!"

Veronica: "It was nothing."

She gently pushed past me and went inside the bus. I turned to face where Jake and And standing. I see Jake standing in the field by himself and Andy walking angily towards me. He gets close to me and says "I hope you two have a long and hppy fucking relationship bitch." His words were so cold, they sent shivers down my spine. I felt hot tears form in my eyes and I knew how much I had just hurt people. Andy cared about me, but sadly, I care about Jake now. Jake see's me frozeen and runs towards me. He takes me in his arms and I start to cry. He picked me up bridal style and walked onto the bus. It was about 9:00 at night and I felt slightly jet lagged from the time difference of Maine and L.A. Jake could tell I was tired and just emotionally unstable, so he laid me down in his bunk and laid next to me, keeping his protective arms around me all night, almost as if he was keeping all of my monsters and demons away...
