Just gonna say this now, this is my first Horror story, >~< so it's probably gonna be horrible. Also, this is a one-shot, based on a real life encounter.   ~Glaze

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My name is Lily Glacier, I'm a 15 year old girl, and I live with my father and my older brother. It was another day. I went on with my life, like every other day. Go to school, with History and Science, then General Music and Choir, Lunch and Recess, Study hall, then finally Math and Language Arts. After surviving another school day like always, I went home and waited until my father had gotten off of work. I watched YouTube, like I always do, until my father finally got home. He was tired so we decided to go get fast food for dinner. I walked outside of the house, because dad almost always kept the car outside. I was looking out at the tree line. My home, is in the middle of a forest, a few miles away from the closest town. I was a little lost in thought when I saw a flash of brown fur. At first, I thought it was a squirrel, but I saw it again, more clearly. It was a rabbit, a brown rabbit to be exact. I said to my father, "Look! A rabbit! Did you see it?", he was looking partially in the same direction I was, so I had assumed he saw it. But all he said was, "I didn't see anything". I was a little skeptical and waited a few seconds to see if he was joking, but he wasn't. So I just shrugged it off, and practically forgot about the whole thing. We had gotten McDonald's and gone home, and I did what I normal do at night, watch YouTube, again, maybe play Minecraft, then go to sleep.
~Time skip, 3 days later. [Friday]~
After a few days, I had forgotten all about the brown rabbit, It was Friday, or what I call, "Free Day", because the next day was Saturday. It was after school, I was sitting at the kitchen table at my house, my father was home too, so it was about 6 P.M. As I said, I was just chilling there, next to the kitchen table was the screen door leading into the back yard. My father had said, "Look! A bunny!", I turned around and looked outside the screen door to see it. It was a brown rabbit, it's back turned to the glass. It was about 4 feet away. I stared at it, "It couldn't be the same rabbit" I had thought. It turned around and looked at me with it's beady black eyes, then ran away. I decided to go outside and follow it. I walked around my house, to where the shed was, in the direction it had ran. I looked around and I had saw it, It was sitting next to a block of wood, on the path to the shed. I ran back to my house, and opened the door, I went up to my room, up the stairs, and grabbed my phone, then ran back outside. I went back to where I had seen the rabbit, and it was still there. I took out my phone and took a few pictures, taking a step or two closer every time. Until I got too close, and It had ran away, and it went under the barb wire fence that surrounded my house, deeper into the forest. Me, having a curious type nature, wanted to follow the rabbit, into the forest. But I decided not too, because it was starting to get dark outside, and I'd have to walk around the fence to get to the other side. So I went back inside, and locked the front door behind me, then went back upstairs to my room. Once I got to my room, I looked at the pictures, and then uploaded them onto my computer and told my friends on Skype about the whole brown rabbit situation. I felt like it was the same rabbit, but my friends on Skype said that it most likely isn't the same one. I didn't believe them though, because I just had a feeling that, that specific rabbit was special. Although I was curious about the rabbit, I was also a little frightened. Was that rabbit watching me? Or is it just all in my head? I thought about it as I turned my laptop off, and went to sleep.
~Another time skip, [Saturday]~
It was Saturday morning, the best day of the week. It was a little gloomy outside, and the sky was covered with grey clouds. The sun was hidden away behind the clouds, and it was nice and cold outside. It was around lunch time, my father had gone out to do some shopping in a city around 30 minutes away from our house, which left me here alone with my old brother. Although my older brother didn't really leave his room, unless it was to get food, so I was practically alone. I decided to go outside and look around the place were I first saw the rabbit, around the edge of the forest around my home, and the place in the fence it had ran under. I looked around, at the edge of the forest, and around the pile of branches and sticks that dad had made. When my father cleaned up sticks and branches that fall off the trees in our yard, he puts them in a pile at the tree line. I saw nothing there, so I went around the house, and looks around the backyard, where me and my dad saw it through the backdoor. Nothing there either, so I went to check the fence, still I saw nothing, nothing around the fence, and nothing deeper in the forest. At least, nothing I could see in the forest. I headed on my way back to the home when I saw it. That same flash of brown fur I had seen when I first saw the brown rabbit. It was there, sitting next to the shed at the edge of the forest. I ran back to my house to get my phone, since I hadn't expected to see it again. After getting my phone, I went back to the shed, but it was gone. I sighed and walked back into the house. While walking back to the house, I had the feeling that I was being watched, but I ignored it. As my dad had said when I told him about the rabbit, It's most likely just my imagination, and rabbits are harmless anyways. But truthfully, I didn't really believe that was the case. There was something about that brown rabbit, and I just know it's the same one ever time. I went inside my house, and locked the door behind me like always, and went back upstairs, talked to my friends on Skype for a little bit, and play Minecraft.
