So I sat there watching him, watching his face change as he explained what had happened, and I realized, that maybe. I’d forgiven David. For what he had done. Maybe, I wasn’t angry anymore.

‘David.’ I said interrupting him. He closed his mouth startled.

‘Sorry, but I just wanted to say something. I, I forgive you.’

I surprised myself with this, for what he had done I thought I would never forgive him, but he looked even more amazed than me. I looked down, looking back up to notice a tear rolling down his cheek. I smiled slightly but teared up aswell. He nodded.

‘T- thank you. Billie. Thank you.’

I nodded, and began to cry, but this time I was happy. David smiled, crying, tiny silver tears rolling down his cheeks. Leaning forwards I put my arms round him until I was leaning on him, my head on his chest. And then, me in his arms, we both fell asleep.

Hearing screaming I opened my eyes, everywhere was now black and I couldn’t see anything, not even my hand in front of my face. I could feel David’s arms around me. I held them close, scared. The screaming had stopped and I could hear David’s steady breathing, a sign he was in a deep sleep. Biting my lip I realized he hadn’t finished telling me what had happened. So, I stepped into his dreams. He was dreaming about what had happened, I was seeing it through his eyes. After I had passed out, David had turned back to normal, Abbie had been angry at him and they’d had a sort of, verbal fight. But before anything could come out of this David has passed out, and ended up in this room with me. I shivered and jumped out of his head. I still wasn’t used to seeing stuff through other people’s eyes. I heard the screaming again, it made me jump and I bolted in David’s arms, he murmered.

‘Billie?’

‘Its okay. Im sorry. Something made me jump.’ I replied quietly. ‘David. I’m scared.’

I felt him tighten his grasp around me.

‘Not for us. For Abbie.’

I heard him exhale. I blinked and then everywhere was white. Shielding my eyes I span round in David’s arms to look at him.

‘How we gunna find her?’

He didn’t reply. He was just looking at me.

‘Hello, how are we gunna find Abbie??’

Still he didn’t reply, just carried on looking at me. It was kinda freaking me out.

‘D-david? Everything alright?’ I murmured biting my lip.

He nodded.

‘Erm….well…wanna, talk?’

He smiled, ‘Sorry, was just thinking.’

‘Rig-.’ I began to say but was interrupted as David leaned forwards and softly kissed me on the lips. Leaning back again he looked at me as if to say ‘was that aloud?’ but all I could do was blush. That had surprised me. I looked down. As he brushed the hair from my face.

‘We need to find Abbie.’

‘Yeh.’ He replied. ‘I just wanted to do that first.’

I looked up looking him in the eye, nodding I continued.

‘How we gunna get out of here though. I mean…’ I said gesturing at our never ending surrounding.

‘I have no idea.’ David replied, slowly standing up and helping me up. ‘No idea at all.’

I smiled at him. Useful. He shrugged putting his hand over his shoulder to rub his back. I sighed and shook my head.

‘Okay, voice or whatever you are. Where’s Abbie?’
