"Home sweet home," I sigh out as I enter the house. I throw my bag to the corner of the living room and sit down on the couch for a couple of minutes before getting up. I quickly clean the house, there wasn't much to clean in the first place, and complete all of my homework as quickly as I can. Without even realizing it, the day has passed by. I stand up and think of what had happened in school but soon get interrupted by the sound of a door opening and slamming.

"Max!" mom shouts.

"Yes ma?" I respond. "Come, I want water!!" She demanded. "Yes ma'am!" I answer and run to the kitchen for a cup of water.

"Here," I hand it over to her. Snatching it off my hand and taking a huge gulp, she throws it in front of my feet. Making the cup shatter and water splash all over the floor, she yells, "Well, what are you waiting for!? Clean it! Now!!" While snapping her fingers at me.

I honestly understand why she's asking for a cup of water when she'll just be throwing most of it.

"Ok" I cowerly say and start wiping the water off the floor with a clean towel that was sitting near. She just terrifies me a bit too much.

"Useless imbecile!" She snarls as she walks away. Lowering my head even further down, I continue wiping. Once I finally finish wiping up the last drop, I get up and head to the kitchen, where I see my mother sitting on a chair. She seemed to be deep thought but snaps out of it as soon as she notices my stares.

"What?!" She screams. "What are you looking at?!"

"Nothing," I responded once again in a low voice. "Then get out of my sight!" She snapped. Keeping my head low, I silently walk towards my room. "Brat" I hear from the distance. I open the door of my room and see my bed. Without much hesitation, I throw myself onto the bed. My stomach starting to growl, I  groan. "I'm hungry" I say as I rub my stomach in attempt to sooth it out. I stare at my ceiling and start losing myself in my thoughts.

"Fuck this world" I mutter to myself as I close my eyes.
