I really don't see why you need to blindfold me" I say to Darren, after he put the blindfold on and led me out of the taxi and forward.

"I want it to be a surprise" he replies.

"O.k. stop" He removes my blindfold, as I take in everything around me. The restaurant was outside. Darren had led me to a table on its own in the corner, away from the others. All around us there were twinkle stars, on the walls, on the trees and even up posts. Our table had a couple of candles in the middle. I turned to Darren, realising I hadn't noticed him and what he was wearing. He was dressed in a black suit, with a navy shirt underneath. His hair was styled in a 60's look, it made him look amazing, especially in the candle light.

Darren held out a bunch of flowers to me, I took them and realised they were the same ones that I was gushing over in the flower store.

"They're….It's…..It's beautiful, everything…it's so magical" I stammer, trying to get my words out, but I am so overwhelmed, it just comes out all mushy.

"Not as beautiful as you look" He replies with a small smile on his face, before leading me to a table. Darren moves the chair for me to sit down and then goes to his seat and sits opposite me.

A waiter wearing black trousers and waistcoat over a white shirt, walks across with 2 plates, followed by another who had 2 wine flutes and a bottle of wine in his hands.

"Would it be ok if I didn't have wine?" I ask Darren. "One glass and I am under the table, its only wine that has that effect on me"

"You can have anything you like" He replies smiling.

"Can I have a Jack Daniels and coke, please?" I ask as I turn to the waiter.

"Make it two, please?" Darren adds, before turning to me with a cheeky smile on his face.

"I've never tried Jack Daniels and coke before"

"You're missing out" I joke back.

The second waiter puts down the plates, one in front of me and one in front of Darren.

"I remember you saying you had this dish back home, so I thought I would get an amazing chef to cook it for us" Darren looks me deep in the eyes, "I hope that's ok?"

"Its fine, its proberly best you went with something I like because I am so fussy with food."

"Well I thought I would play it safe" he replies chuckling at me. "I don't want to kill you on our first date."

It didn't escape my notice that he called this a date as well.

Darren had persuaded the chef to make chicken in mushroom and peppercorn sauce with rice and vegetables.

As I started eating, I noticed Darren staring at me across the table.

"What? Do I have something on my face?"

"No, you're just so…How can I put this without sounding so stupid?" He asks with the most amazing cute smile, that lights up his whole face. I have never seen anyone look so beautiful before.

"You are so beautiful, I can't help but watch you." He lowers his head and runs a hand through his curls as he gets embarrassed.

"If it makes you feel any better, I am sat here trying not to stare at one of the most gorgeous and talented guys I have ever seen in my life."

"I'm not gorgeous or talented, well not in my eyes, I am just a schmuck who enjoys making noise" He replies.

"Well I know a whole group of people who would disagree. I also know they would love you to come to the U.K with some glee friends, maybe some warblers and some of your starkid friends to"

"I plan on doing, as soon as I get the chance, I am a busy guy" He jokes as he bites into some chicken.

"I'm not surprised your busy is you spend most of your time taking girls out for dinner and rearranging your schedule for them"

Darren is still eating so he just throws me a "You know that's not the case" kind of look.

I take full advantage of him being speechless.

"And I am serious, you don't realise how much you do for us fans. You have brought some amazing people into my life who I would never have met if it wasn't for you. You have helped me accept myself and not listen to people who try to bring me down. You have also given me some amazing music to listen to"

Darren just looks at me before laughing whilst saying, "I actually have fans? How many? 2? 3?"

"I am being serious," I say laughing at his cute expression. "Can I just say? However it is totally off topic, this food is amazing!"

"I know I come here as often as I can, the chef is amazing and will cook anything I ask for"

Just as we finish our food, the plates are taken away. We sit there in silence for a minute until I realise what song is playing. "I know this song is not a very romantic one and is about break-ups but I absolutely love this song" I say, whilst dancing in my seat.

"What is it, can't say I have heard it before" Darren replies, watching me with a cute expression on his face.

"It's The Pussycat Dolls, I hate this part, and it's amazing"

Darren gets up, walks over to my side of the table, and bends slightly whilst holding out his hand.

"Will you dance with me?"

I nod my head as I take his hand and stand.

He pulls me close and wraps his free arm around my waist, so I put mine around his neck. He starts to move in a circle, just watching me.

I just want to kiss him but decide that is proberly not the best thing to do.

As the song ends, Darren stops dancing and traces his hand that was holding mine, from my eyes, down my jaw line and to my chin. He leans in close and whispers "I really want to kiss you right now"

Using my hand that is on the back of his neck, I pull his head in closer, kissing him. It was a slow kiss, one of those kisses that make your heart beat faster. I could feel Darren smiling as he kisses me. After a couple of seconds have passed, that feel like forever, the second waiter appears with dessert. Darren pulls away smiling, making sure to keep hold of my hand, takes me back to the table.
