"It's frightening when you mend a broken-heart. Either you succeed or not, you give it a chance to get shuttered again. And you know what they say, the second time around is worse.
Something patched again can be something torn again.
When you mend a broken-heart, you give pain another shot and let it lead you to another trap.
It's frightening.
It always is.
And maybe that's one reason why some people don't want to be saved anymore.

"I couldn't figure it out. Why do I feel like she's making it harder and harder for me as if she saw this coming?" Grand fell on his knees, losing hold of the box of scarred letters and faded pictures.

Avnika, on the other hand, struggled moving through loads of heavy clothes and books in the closet. Giving up on something quite lost of direction just because it came from someone who doesn't even exist anymore is never going to be her option. She had a growing indescribable feeling about this mystery, and this doesn't happen every day of her life.

"Eeek!" She squeaked and glided out of the closet. "I think I know now what she meant!" She ran to Grand and sprawled an endless roll of negative films on the marble floor. "Can you see the message behind these?"

He groaned internally, frustrated and extremely drained. "Obviously no. Can you just tell me directly?" He ran a hand over his face.

Avnika nodded eagerly, caressing the vintage films that seemed locked away from the world for decades. "The first one over there, it has a letter B carved on the oak tree."

"So?" Grand raised a brow almost instantly. "It could be a butterfly and it still wouldn't make any sense. Unless she wants us to catch one." He huffed.

"No!" She defended and pointed on the sixth film. Why does he have to be so difficult over this? "Look, there are 10 significant films here and they consist a compound word. Now, the first word has B on its beginning and T on its last; the next word has L and T respectively."

"I really don't-"

She shook his shoulder as a victorious smile surfaced her face. It became pretty clear to her now. "Don't you get it?" Turning around, she pointed a picture frame hanging on the wall above the dashboard and gasped. "She wants us to finish her adventure. She needs you to see through her art. She confirmed my doubt!"
