Chapter two

As lunch bell rung, Rainbow rushed out of her seat, and dashed to the cafeteria. On her way there, she bumped into Applejack.

"Hold up sugarcube! What's got you in a rush!" Applejack held up her arm and stopped Rainbow.

"Oh, I'm just really hungry!" Rainbow lied while patting her stomach.

"Ok, see ya at our table!" Applejack exclaimed.

"Oh, um," Rainbow had to come up with a lie. " I gotta help Fluttershy with something, I won't be at the table today.

"Oh, well I'll see you on the bus I guess!" Applejack walked away.

Rainbow scooted to the lunch room, and as she opened the door, she spotted Fluttershy.

"Fluttershy! Let's sit at this table." Rainbow motioned to an empty table far away from the usual table they sat at. They set their stuff down, and walked to the lunch line.

"So how was this morning for you?" Fluttershy asked, grabbing an apple.

"Awesome. Surprisingly, I wasn't late for any of my classes!"

"Well, I didn't have a particularly good morning..." Fluttershy whispered

"Oh no what happened?!" Rainbowdash dropped her tray.

"Gilda bullied me for being too... quiet."

Rainbowdash grabbed all her food and dragged Fluttershy to a table.

"Where is she! Do I need to kill a bitch!?" Rainbowdash almost shouted, and then she spotted Gilda, sitting at a table nearby. Rainbowdash started to storm over, but Fluttershy grabbed her hand and brought her back.

"Rainbow it's fine, please don't do anything to her." Fluttershy pleaded

"Fine but if she doesn't back off I'm coming after her." Rainbow threatened.

"Don't worry..." Fluttershy whispered again.

Rainbow snapped back to reality, realizing she was holding hands with Fluttershy. Still holding hands, they sat down and started to eat. The bland, cardboard like pizza was normal to her. But since Fluttershy is a vegan, she got the salad.

As the bell rang Rainbow realized she still hadn't told Fluttershy!

"Wait Fluttershy!" Rainbow exclaimed. "I forgot to tell you!"

"Oh no! Can you tell me on the bus?" Fluttershy asked.

"Yeah, I guess." Rainbow said, saddened.

Rainbow had next period with Twilight, so she met her at the door.

"So what did Fluttershy need help with?" Twilight asked Rainbow while they were opening their lockers.

"Oh um.... uh.... We were doing a project!" Rainbow lied.

"Oh! That's awesome!" Twilight exclaimed while grabbing her science textbook and closing her locker.

"Yeah..." Rainbow said, also closing her locker.

As they were slowly walking to their class, the tardy bell rang, and they started sprinting to class.

"Crap. I almost went through the whole day without being tardy in any classes." Rainbow whispered to herself. Twilight and Rainbow got to their class, and they both got a detention for Thursday (the next day)

Once it was the end of the day, Rainbow dashed to Fluttershy's last period classroom and they walked to the bus.

"How was your day, Rainbow?" Fluttershy asked.

"It was great. How was yours?" Rainbow replied.

"It was good." Fluttershy whispered.

They got on the bus and noticed Applejack and Rarity there. Pinkie and Twilight still hadn't come. Rainbow and Fluttershy went to their usual spot. They talked the whole ride, but Rainbow forgot to tell her one thing...
