The Suprise

To see Juliette stretching her feet and cracking her toes. What I didn't  see was another dancer leaping, straight in my direction. He didn't see me in time.

I got bashed by his back leg and fell to the floor, hearing a crack and not from Juliette. My head smashed against the floor and I blacked out.

I woke up in a hospital bed. Juliette was standing over me. As the world came into view, I felt intense pain. I then bombarded Juliette with questions.

"What happened? How long have I been sleeping? Am I injured? Can I dance? How badly am I injured? TELL ME SOMETHING!" I exclaimed. Juliette timidly replied.

"This other dancer crashed into you. You've been asleep for about a day. You are injured, don't freak out. You fractured your right ankle, but on the plus side you didn't break your back. Can you dance? I don't know, but from what the doctors said you can still audition for nutcracker on like the company, I guess. Hopefully that answers all you questions, Jennifer." I sat in the bed, sad. I looked under the covers seeing the robo-boot on my foot. Then Juliette suggested.

"You could come watch class, right?"

"Ya I could, I guess. That would help." I got out of the bed and checked with the doctors that I could go home. I slowly walked home and grabbed a salad for dinner from the cafeteria.

I got to bed after eating and fell asleep. I woke up the next day and put on a pair on black Lululemon shorts and a pink polka-dotted sports bra. I put on a sweater signed by one of the principal dancers. It was a light material with a zipper style.

I had a bloch bootie on the foot that wasn't wearing the robo-boot. I grabbed my foot stretcher to use on the non fractured foot.

I went to class and sat in the dressing room, no one else was there yet. I wondered what the teacher would think.
