Chapter 14

Percy

"Annabeth, Love, it's going to be ok." 

She looked so worried and her face was turning pale again. "Do you feel ok?" I asked. She shook her head. 

"I feel sick again Percy." She got out of the car and ran over to some bushes a few feet away. By then, Piper, Jason, Hazel and Frank (who were there for the summer), Calypso, Leo, and Nico were all there waiting to say hi. I got out of the car. 

Even though it had been 2 years since I saw them last I said, "Hey guys. Sorry. She has morning sickness. I'm going to go make sure she is okay then we can have our big happy family reunion." Then I ran after Annabeth. 

I found her sitting on the ground, leaning back on a tree. I went and sat beside her, wrapping my arms around her. "Percy, I can't." 

"Can't what?" 

"I can't face Calypso. I can't do this whole pregnancy thing. I feel terrible. I'm exhausted and I am tired of throwing up." She started crying.

 "Percy, I can't be a mom. I don't know how."

 "Annabeth, Annabeth look at me." She looked up at me. "You are going to be a wonderful mom. Just breath and relax. Besides, you aren't in this alone. I'm here with you. I'm not going anywhere, I promise. I love you Wise Girl." 

She smiled when I called her by my nickname for her. "Thank you. I love you too Seaweed Brain." 

I tilted her head up and gently pressed my lips against hers. "Oh I see how it is." We looked up and saw Piper and Jason standing there. 

"Just making up excuses to go off and make out. Yeah. You don't have to say hi to your friends you haven't seen in 2 years." They teased. All 4 of us smiled and hugged.
