"I'll sleep on the floor." I said to break the awkward silence. "No I'll sleep on the floor." Lachlan says "Lachy, no I'll sleep on the floor so if anyone comes in your room they'll probably think I force you or something." I tell him because I don't want him or me to get punished. "Okay" he saids and toss me a pillow, then goes into the closet to get a blanket. "Thanks, Lachlan." I tell him, because at least one of my best friends are here. Now I feel like a jag because Zoë is coming to get me and I just finally regained memory of my best friend. "Hey Giana....HEY!" Lachlan shouts in my face waving he is waving his hand in my face. "H-huh" i say breaking me out of my thoughts. "Are you okay." He says to me. "Okay promise you won't get mad at me if I tell you this." I tell him, even though he still might freak out. "Promise." He said with a serious face. "Okay." I say then I take a deep breath "Myfriendzoëiscomingtogetmefromhere." Lets hope he didn't understand any of that. "Huh" he said with a confused face. "Nothing goodnight." I said as I took the covers from him and went on the floor and quickly put the pillow down and put the cover over my head. "Giana what did you say." I heard Lachlan say. He probably wasn't going to stop asking me so might as well tell him.I take the covers off my head and look up to see lachlan with this silly face

"I said that my friend zoë is coming to get me from here."i told him that silly went away and in to a scared face. "Ohh s***, how, when, and why." Okay i thought that he would be mad at me , but I think he is way more scared of Mitch. "When I was in the basement by myself I texted my friend, but at the time I didn't now you were my best friend and yeah." I tell him. "Okay how does she know where you are." He asks "Um do you remember when I told you I had powers." I tell him, he then thinks and says "Ohh yeah." "Yeah some of friends have powers." I tell him. "OH! Chez!" He shouts. "Hey shut up your going to wake up the others or disrupt them." Whisper/yelled covering his mouth as Preston walked through the door then stopping standing there looking at Lachlan and I wide eyed. "Whats going on here?" Preston asks. "Umm..." we both say in unison, well me mostly because lachlan was muffled by my hand. Then I feel something wet on my hand. I pull away quickly and say "Ewww Lachlan why you do dis." "Because....not important at the moment." He said "Preston, please don't tell any that Mac/I'm is/in in here." We both say at the same time. "Okay." Preston says walking backwards closing the door.We both sigh in relief. "Going to sleep,now." We both say in unison. "Jinx." Lachlan says "what?" I ask "Jinx, you own me something." He says. "Okay,what do you want." I see him flop on his bed in thought "I think you being here is enough." He says. "You are so cheesey, you know that." I say "I get that a lot actually." He says referencing what I said eariler. We both laugh and we fall asleep. "Goodnight Lachlan." I say. "Goodnight Giana...." I don't hear what he says next because I fall asleep.
Lachlan's Pov
"Goodnight Giana...I love you." I say the last part quietly so only I can hear myself and fall asleep with a smile on my face.
