Chapter 1

Alexis woke up with a jolt, she quickly turned of her alarm clock then got out off bed feeling tired and dizzy, she wasn't a morning person at all. She got into her closet and picked out her clothes then made a dash for the bathroom and did her daily morning routine, when she was done she got to the kitchen, made her coffee and left her house to catch the bus, unlike all the other kids at school she couldn't afford a car so she was stuck riding the bus till she saved up enough to get a car.
The bus ride was fairly short which made Alexis for the first time ever early to school. She reached her locker got her books put and hurried to home room. She then saw Sarah Wilson, the most popular girl in school walking toward her. "Hi Anna", Sarah said happily, "It's Alexis", Alexis said angrily.
"Yea whatever, listen I have to talked to you about something"
"What is it?"
"I have a challenge for you", Sarah said calmly "The challenge is", she continued "To get Jace to fall in love with you then break his heart"
Jace the school player? Alexis thought to herself. "What will I get if I succeed?", Alexis fired back. " My dad will pay your college tuition". Alexis felt her stomach turn How did Sarah know she was poor, did everyone know? "How did you know about that?", Alexis asked weakly. "I hooked up with the office guy and he allowed me to go throw the school files, I saw you had gotten into Penn State then I researched your last name and found out your dad was a Janitor", Sarah said wickedly. Alexis couldn't believe what was happening "Why do you want me to do it anyway?", Alexis said angrily "Because you are the only girl in the school Jace hasn't fucked", Sarah said "And he needs to get knocked down a few pegs". Alexis thought about it for a moment "What if I don't want to do it?", Alexis challenged "Then I will tell the whole school your dad is a janitor", Sarah said smiling how could she do this, how could anyone be so mean "Ok fine I'll do it", Alexis said sadly "Good", Sarah said and with that she walked away. What could go wrong?
