Chapter Three

Chapter Three <3 



Kylie went straight to the bathroom to take a shower when we got home. I just went into her room and pick out an outfit to wear while I was waiting for her to finish showering.

After I showered I throw on my good vibes tee shirt and ripped high waste shorts. I put my black vans and beanie on. I went to the mirror and put on a little black mascara and eyeliner.
I ran into Kylie's room to find her in a really hot dress.


Kat: "Damn, is there someone at the party that your trying to impress?"


Kylie cheeks turned a light shade of red so I knew the answer was yes.


Kylie: "No" She tried to play it cool.


Kat: "Whatever lets go."


We blasted the radio and headed to Connor's house.



(Connor's POV)



After finally getting my head together I hopped in the shower cleaning up a bit. I went to my closet  picking out a Vans tee shirt and khaki shorts. I throw those on and grabbed my gray beanie. I slid on my blue vans and was ready to go.


I headed down the hallway to JC's room. I knocked on the door.


JC: "Come in!"


I came through the door, sat on his chair and sighed.
JC was sitting on the floor on his phone.


Connor: "Can we talk?"


JC: "Sure what's it about?"


Connor: "Well there's this girl that I like, she's coming to the party and I don't know what to do? I have only known her for a week but I feel this connect with her."
JC is are go-to guy about are problems.


JC: "Just play it cool for now"


Connor: "I don't think I can do that"


JC: "Yes you can. You can't rush into things."


Connor: "What if I lose my chance."


JC: "Trust me your not going to lose your chance in one night."


Connor: "Thanks."


JC: "Anytime" I got up from his leather chair and left his room.




(Kat's POV)




We parked down the street and started walking to Connor's house.
We walked into a big house with what felt like two hundred people dancing and hanging out. I walked to the kitchen with Kylie glued to my side.


There were five guys in the kitchen.
One of them was Connor so I ran over to give him giving him a bear hug leaving Kylie far behind me. He look a little caught off guard when I almost tackle him but relaxed after realizing it was me.
We hugged for a little to long that all his friends were staring at us. He turned from me and looked at his friends.


Connor: "This is Kat from the store." Connor pointed to me.
I hopped over to get Kylie's hand and pulled her to me.


Kat: "This is also my friend Kylie." The guys turned to us.


Connor: "This is JC." Connor showed a guy with black wavy hair with a red shirt on.


Connor: "Kian and Sam over there." Pointing to a tall skinny guy with brown hair and a short guy with the same hair in the corner of the kitchen.


Connor: "And last Ricky." He showed me a tall guy with light brown hair and bright brown eyes.


Kat: "Hello everyone!" I waved my hand towards the five guys looking at us and they did the same.


Connor: "Do you want to dance?" Connor asked me pulling me off to the side


Kat: "Sure." He pulled my hand to the living room witch was I guess the dance floor.


We danced for what felt like hours, beans of sweat dripped down my forehead. I us the back of my hand to wip my forhead. I need a nice cold drink to cool off. 


Kat: "Where are the drinks?" I yelled over the loud music


Connor: "I will show you" Connor grabbed my hand witch made my heart stop for a second. We walked through what felt like the whole house then we finially came into the garage.


The lights were off so Connor turned on the lights. My heart nearly exploded in my chest when I saw what was happening in the garage.


I saw my ex-boyfriend that I was with for two year and then cheated on me about a month ago.


I was still recovering from his scars he left me with. He was making out with Kylie half naked on top of him. He saw me and didn't stop. My whole body went numb.


I ran out of the garage and into the upstairs bathroom in Connor's room pushing everyone out of my way as tears rushed down my cheeks. I closed the door breathing heavliy. Now I can feel again.


(Connor's POV)



Kat and I were dancing for an hour then she stop dancing and pulled me to the side.


Kat: "Where are the drinks?" She yelled over the loud music coming from the stereo.


Connor: "I will show you" I grabbed her warm hand and we walked to the garage.


The lights were off so I turned them on. I was looking at her the whole time and did not see what was happening in front of us.


Her eyes went for happy to broken. I turned to see what she was looking at, Kylie making out with some ramdom guy. It took me a second to figure why this shattered Kat's heart then it clicked when I saw him look at her, smile evily then continued to suck on Kylie's neck letting out an occasional moan.


I turned to Kat but she wasn't standing next to me. I ran all over the house seaching for her tell I found myself at my bathroom door. I knocked hard on the door. There was no answer so I banged harder. I was get more nervous.



Finally she come out crying so hard. This killed me inside. I looked behind her to see blood all over the counter.


I pushed hashly her up agasint the wall so she could not move and pulled up her sleeve. I was so heart broken and shock to what I saw. I took a step back relasling my grip on her wrist looking at the broken and hurt girl that stood in front of me.


I throw her in my arms and she sobbed into my chest, soaking my shirt. Her muffled cries ecoed in the room and bounced around in my head. 

I brought her into the bathroom, sat her on the counter and looked into her puffy blue eyes. All I saw was sadness. I wish I could fix her, I wish she would see what I see, a beautiful girl that should forget about him. I pulled up her sleeve and kissed her wrist. I pulled her into my chest and wrapped my arms around her waist.

Connor: "Do you want to stay here tonight?" Knowing that she should stay here where I can protect her from even her self.


Kat: "O-o-kay" she could hardly talk. I picked her up and laid her on my bed. I gave her one of my shirts to wear.  I took off my shirt and shorts leaving my boxers on. I got into the bed and pulled her waist towards me. I wish I could lay here with her forever.
