Untouched

"Happy Birthday Cass !" I hear my parents shout through the phone.

"Thanks mom, thanks dad!" I smile as I respond to them.

Today is my 18th birthday. I didn't plan on doing anything special. Maybe order Chinese and have a movie night with my bestfriend Sarah. Birthdays aren't a big deal to me.

"I'm sorry that we aren't home celebrating with you," I hear my mom sigh.

"It's okay! Honestly!" I reassure her.

"But this is your 18TH BIRTHDAY! " She exaggerates.

"I know , but it's really not a big deal and you guys are working, I understand," I calmly replied.

"Oh Cass..." I hear my dad in the background.

"So what are your plans for today?" My mother starts investigating.

My parents have always kept me on "a short leash" as Sarah likes to call it, but I know they just care and want the best for me. I've never really done anything bad, and I'm proud of myself for it!

"Nothing much, maybe order take out and have a movie night with Sarah," I chirped.

"Only Sarah?" My mother asked.

I understand why she would ask that that. Sarah would usually come with a different guy each week and my parents noticed.

"Yes mom! No boys did you hear that father?" I chuckled at the last part.

I know that was exactly what he was worrying about

"That's my girl," he chuckled.

"Well honey, enjoy the rest of your birthday! We love you!" My mom chirped.

"Thanks! Love you, too!" I smiled to myself and hung up. I'm really grateful to have my parents. They mean the world to me.

Anyways, it's about 12:00 pm, so I decided to get dressed. I'm actually a morning person, but it's my birthday! Plus, I don't have any special plans. I grabbed my ipod and blasted "my favorites" playlist. I ran into the restroom , got undressed and began to bath . Ed Sheeran's voice began to fill my room and I began to sing along.

"But if I kiss you, Will your mouth read this truth. Darling , how I missed you. Strawberries taste how lips do ... "

God I swear he is so talented! I can't wait till he comes and does a show in LA.

As my music kept playing, I chose out a simple outfit. (jeans and a white & pale T-shirt with my white doc martins)

As I waited for Sarah, I decided to check out my Instagram and twitter. I saw so many "Happy Birthday !'s". I feel loved. Haha. I just tweeted a simple "Thanks everyone (: ♡"

"CASSIDY MARIE! Where are you birthday girl!?" I hear Sarah's voice beam through my house.

"Over here!" I squeaked as I made my way to the living room. Not only did I find Sarah in there, but Niall and Josie? Um ... Not that I mind or anything.

"Hey guys !" I smiled.

"Happy Birthday babe !" Josie hugged me really tight . 

"Happy Birthday Cass" Niall hugged me as well.
