You say all black is beautiful
But why are you always laughing at me
When we don't see eye to eye
Why do you call me black to offend me
Why do you prefer her over me
Is it because she's the one with the pretty eyes and the smooth yet fair skin
Or is it because you believe the stereotype that says all dark skin women are ugly?
_________________________________________
Don't tell her she's pretty for a dark skinned girl.
Dark skin is NOT a badge of shame; but rather a glorious masterpiece created by god himself.

THIS CHAPTER IS CREATED TO LET YOU ALL SEE HOW TIARA THINKS AND HOW EVIL SHE CAN BE. THIS CHAPTER ISN'T CREATED TO OFFEND OR HARM ANYONE! ENJOY YOUR READINGS.

As promised I spent my Saturday in the salon along with my mom she wasn't in her office like usual but she stood aside me while I shampooed this lady's hair preparing her for a silk out.

" can I talk to you about something?" She asked me.

I nodded my head. " of course." I said.

" I know you don't like Tiara."

As soon as she said that I didn't bother to sigh I didn't interrupt her while she spook. I wanted to hear what she had to say I wanted to honor my mother the best way I knew how.

And and... if that meant being around Tiara I would try my best to... But that doesn't mean I'm going to talk to her and nor does it mean im going to acknowledge her presence

" and I know you don't like Raymond, and I don't blame you... And I'm not asking you too. But can you just give them a chance."

It took me a while to respond but I nodded my head.

" I know you don't want to live under the same roof as them but I want to be able to see you every morning and I don't want to visit auntie Viv to see you either. its time for you to toughen up... Life isn't always going to be fair nor is it going to be perfect there's going to be times where you have to do certain things that you don't want to do. "

She patted my shoulders. " just think about it okay." Her voice coming out soothingly soft. " Raymond wants you and I to join them for dinner."

She walked away as my hands worked on getting the shampoo out of Ms. Angie's hair.

"Raymonds' your step father." The women asked me minutes later

"Yes ma'm" I answered looking down at her face. She was a beautiful elderly women. She had caramel skin small eyes that were hazel and she rocked dark red lip stick.

" I once had a step father. I swear every time I saw him I wanted to stab him in the stomach." She laughed causing me to smile at her sense of humor. " no seriously I hated his guts one time I brought home this boy named Leon boy I tell you I had a crush on him since the 6th grade and my step dad ran him off. I cursed that man out so bad that, that was the first time I ever got hit by my mom."

She opened her eyes to look at me. She soon closed them back.

" but to make a long story short. I ended up going out with the guy. And my step dad warned me about him, he would always say 'Angie somethings off about the kid.' And I'd through the middle finger up of course when ever he looked away. But he cheated on me and ever since then me and my step dad have gotton closer."

" I was truly devastated when he pasted away." She shared with me as I got a towel and dapped at her head just enough to keep her wet hair from dripping on the floor.

I prepped her up in the chair putting a cape on her taking out a blow dryer

I wasn't like these other hair dressers who knew how to keep a conversation going with a total stranger and I sure as heck wasn't going to go on about a 'you don't know Raymond' type story.
