"Trouble in paradise? " Reby smirks
I sigh, "pretty much." Taking the last swig of my beer, I flagged down the bartender to bring another.
"Easy there Mox." Reby says rubbing my thigh.
"Reby, stop."
"Oh c'mon Mox, you're little girlfriend is gone. Maube you can come to my place and fool around.' she smirks
I shake my head, "no, i love Jayde. J have no desire to cheat on her. Now, if you'll excuse me, i have to go find her."
I placed a $20 on the table and left out on the busy sidewalk.
Jayde
I began pushing through the people on the sidewalk. I shrivered, its something i do when something bad is going to happen.
"Jayde!" I turn to see Jon pushing through people . I roll my eyes and turn back around.
"Jayde, please. Look at me." he says breathing on the back of my neck.
"What happened to your lil friend ?"
"I left her at the bar. You were more important." Jon began hugging me from behind.
"Im sorry okay. " I finally say.
"..its just. . . i love you Jo-"
I was interrupted my some people a couple of feet away arguing. Then they began fighting. I held onto Jon so I wouldn't be stomped or pushed over.
BANG BANG BANG!
Gunshots were fired. Jon hit the floor witb me under him . I held onto him tightly afraid of what would happen next. I finally hear police sirens and police officers shouting. Then Jon was snatched off me by a police officer, they slamed him on the ground and began yelling at him.
"Get off of him, he didn't do anything wrong!" I began yelling
"Ma'am step the hell back." The police officer says
"Do you know who the hell we are ?! We can have you fired!"
"Jayde shut up" Jon said calmy.
"Boy didn't I tell you to shut up?" The police officer started to hit him with his baton
"STOP!" i say pushing the police officer off of Jon.
"Baby are you okay?" I rushed to his side, holding his head in my lap
"This cop couldnt do any damage to me baby. Its nothing. "
"Like hell it is Jon. Im gonna get help okay. I'll come and get you as soon as I can."
"Okay baby. I love you no mater what happened."
"I love you too." I kissed his lips and ran to our hotel room.
