Love at first sight

Chapter 1

Maddie entered the local town mall earlier this morning shopping for a birthday present for her best friend Zoe, her birthday was next week. So Maddie jumps in the elevator and heads up to the third floor, to find the book she is dying to read.Maddie is all alone in the elevator then it makes an unexpected stop on the second floor.A boy around about my age comes in. He's a bit taller than me and has shaggy brown hair and bright blue eyes. He's nicely tan, skinny but quite muscular. He walks in and we lock eyes. Then I hear a deep voice say " Hey ". I snap back into reality and realise that he was talking to me.I look up at him and he has that amused look on his face, while smiling showing his perfectly white teeth.I shyly smiled back and tuck my hair around my ear looking down. That's when I hear a crash and the elevator stops.

I look down at this mysterious boy in horror. " What just happened"I say to him, are we stuck in here? What are we going to do ?! I can't stay here.I'm going to die. I freak out banging the elevator doors with my fists,clenched tight. Tears running down my face.Then I feel a pair of hands grab my shoulder and turn me around. " Hey , it's going to be alright. "Look at me." The boy tilting my chin up I'm looking right at him." We're going to be fine I promise" he moves his hand and wipes the tears of my face." How can you be so sure ?". Oh my gosh I'm crying in front of a hot guy, I only just meet.No one is waiting to pick me up in the car park , what a relieve ! I stop my rant breathing heavily because I hear chuckling and look up to see that the boy was laughing at me." This isn't funny, we could die in hear!"." What did I say I would get us out of here" he says.

I'm still breathing heavily and it's getting hard for me to breathe and I'm becoming a little light headed. He must of noticed this because I'm lying in his arms. I collapse onto the floor. And I'm kind of lying on him. My head goes to his chest and he wraps his arms around me." Shh it's fine listen to my heart beat, take deep breaths". I start to calm down , I feel him making circles with his fingertips on my arm and playing with my hair.He's really helping me. I have never calmed down from a panic attack this quickly before. We lye there for like a few minutes.

"You know I don't know your name and I'm kinda laying on you." I look up but don't want to get up because he is so hot, comfortable and makes me feel safe."It's Spencer, and I sort of like you laying on me. I gasp but laugh at the same time and sit up.My name is Maddie." I'm so glad to have had a gorgeous girl fall into my arms" Spencer says. " Oh, that so sweet" Maddie replies. Then I hear a loud ringtone come from Spencer pocket. But he ignores it . Then it rang again and Spencer pick up his phone."Dad were trapped in the elevator , get us some help". So Spencer's dad sprinted around the mall looking for anyone who could help his son.Just a moment later they heard a loud crash on the roof. Then we froze and heard a loud noise, someone was drilling a hole and trying to rescue us.Not a moment too soon a man jumped in the elevator where Maddie and Spencer were. They were both startled.So then they climbed up a ladder, opened a small hatch which ended up at the 1st floor."Thanks" Maddie and Spencer said. " It's my pleasure" the man said. " Hey Maddie mind if I get your number"Spencer says. " Sure " Maddie replied. Then they walked separate ways and eventually found there way home.
