Nathan went back to the code sequence he was typing before the unfortunate events took place, and continued with it. From the look on his face, his focus was a hundred percent.
"What are you coding?" Borgina asked.
"Spyware." He replied. "I'm going to find the answers I need faster than Colonel Ford can blink. He can't just sit there controlling all our lives and expect not to be questioned. Besides, I don't believe he has the interest of the citizens at heart. Why is he doping everyone?"
"These are valid points but after finding the answers, then what?" Borgina asked. "It's not like you can do anything to him here."
Borgina knew exactly how Nathan got whenever he was in the zone. His mind worked like a machine, producing everything he set it to. It was something that wouldn't work in her favor right now and she knew it. She was sure the answers Nathan sought were stored somewhere in the vast digital world of MoonEx and it was only a matter of time before he got his hands on them. All she needed to do to succeed in her plan was to make sure Nathan found her version of the truth instead.
While Nathan typed away on his computer, Borgina watched. Behind the scenes however, certain sequences of codes were being updated to a server somewhere within the MoonEx intelligence store. It was a classic case of evidence manufacturing and all that was required now was time. Nathan would find the information he sought soon enough and in the end, everyone will be happy.
