Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess. She had beauty that rivalled the gods. Her long golden tresses seemed to be woven from the sun's rays. She had a delicate heart shaped face with soft pink lips. Every prince in the kingdom wanted her hand in marriage. Unfortunately her personality kind of made all the suitors run away.

"Natsu", Lucy cried out,"Stop scribbling on my babies", she said while clutching the pieces of paper on which she was writing her story to her chest. The pink haired dragon slayer (or rather dragon as her father said) just grinned and gave her one of his usual smiles before saying,"But Luuucccy, I'm bored. Let's go out".

"Natsu!", Lucy said ,"You know what father says, I can't go out of this tower, my beauty will be taken advantage of if i do so and aren't you supposed to prevent me from going out?".

Before the dragon slayer could retort they heard Jose shout,"Lucy let down your whip",(because really who would grow their hair so long as to be used as a rope) he paused for a second before continuing,"And dragon get back to your duties!".

Lucy quickly went to fetch her extremely long whip (after all it had to be long so that it could reach the end of the tower) while Natsu just rolled his eyes and jumped out of the window (it always gave her a heart attack when he did that), immediately turning into his dragon form before touching the ground.

Lucy helped Jose climb through the window into her room with what Natsu had said still fresh in her mind. Maybe he will allow me to go, she thought, after all I am going to turn 18 soon. I have to ask him, she thought feeling a little braver.

She took a step forward," Father", she said hesitantly. Jose turned around to look at her with curiosity. She gulped," I think it's time that I left this tower". The moment she said it she regretted it. Jose's carefree smile turned upside down and his stance tensed.

" You. Are. Not. Leaving. This. Tower.", he growled menacingly. Lucy took a step back, her eyes slightly watery. She was thankful that the pink haired dragon slayer wasn't here, he would burnt Jose's hair by now. "Sorry father", she said softly," I will never ask you again."

And then Jose smiled again and ruffled her hair, as if nothing had happened. They conversed for a while before Jose said he had to leave. She smiled while waving goodbye at him as he went down the path to the town. Her smile immediately dropped the moment he disappeared into the forest and she finally let the tears fall.
