Nathan stepped out of the Rover that took him back to his apartment. He waited for the soldiers to leave before walking in the other direction. As tired as he felt, he couldn't go in to rest. His curiosity got the better of him and he decided to go with an idea that came up while he was at the water extraction site.

As expected, there was a new team lead, some guy named Luke, who was not as accomplished as Becky but had a pretty decent standing. The activities went on like Becky was never there and that actually got to Nathan. Becky's fate showed how dispensable they all were. It prompted Nathan to act even faster than he planned.

Right now, he was walking to Becky's apartment. He was going to look for any evidence to help him piece together what Becky had figured out. If it was important enough to have him killed, Nathan was sure it was very close to the truth.

Nathan's curiosity must have blindsided him to the fact that he needed a plan to get inside the apartment. The automated door was locked, with the key card indicator blinking blue. He needed to swipe an authorized card – something he didn't have.

He clenched his fingers into a fist and let out a muffled groan to show his frustration. He had come all this way for nothing. Unlike the store he broke into days ago, residential apartments on MoonEx had only one entrance and it was through the automated door.

He turned around and was about to leave, when he froze in his tracks. Standing in front of him was Nurse Reese, carrying the little green box which contained the evening's shot.
