His Rescue

-Sora POV-

School.

Pretty normal.

However I have to babysit later.

Bummer.

I want to go to Mrs. Song's house and hang with her. She's so cool and much more understanding than girls my age...

On top of that, her son is so handsome. I don't think I've ever seen such a beautiful man before, his eyes and his lips ugh and his entire existence.

I think I may have a small crush...

But I don't think he'd ever like me back nor will I dare to invest my time in him that way...

First off, the age difference. He's 23 and I just turned 18.

Second, he just got out of prison so who knows what he's gone through.

And last but not least, he's Mrs. Song's son and I can't disrespect her by dating him.

So that's that.

Oh well..

Sigh.

"Sora!"

I turned, "What?"

"Let's go get some snacks!" My classmate invited.

I forced a smile, "Oh sure!"

At least I know better.

-Mino POV-

I woke up quite early and decided to go for a jog. I had my earphones on while I jogged alongside the pier.

There were other joggers up and running as well, I didn't mind though. I need to clear my mind for a while.

Once I came to my stop I sat at a bench and looked out into the open view of the ocean.

The sun is coming up.

I felt a cool breeze as I closed my eyes.

Holly... her face. I see it clearly.

That smile that always lifted me when I was down, how I miss it so. It's just a memory now..

The sun fully arosed, I felt it's warmth beam against my skin.

Holly...

-Flashback-

Holly got in a bad argument with her parents last night.

She called me crying hysterically and begged me to meet up with her. I did so with no hesitation.

I consoled her throughout the night, we walked everywhere. It almost seemed like a night that had no end.

Until of course the sun began to rise.

It looks beautiful...

Holly and I were walking on the sand barefooted, by the shore.

"These kind of moments in life are breathtaking.. right Mino?" Holly asked as her gaze met mine.

I was already looking at her.

I smiled, "Not as breathtaking as you."

She blushed and looked away, "Stop it.."

I kept staring and admired such beauty.
