Chapter 14

Veronica's POV

Oh hell no! I'm not letting my best friend die.

I walked over to her bed and pushed down on her chest.

"Uh...you might make it worse," Jake said.

"Shut the fuck up, Pitts! I took classes on this!" I hissed.

He raised his hands up in defense.

I pushed on her chest harder. And harder. And harder.

Suddenly, Epsi sat up while gasping.

"Espi?" I asked.

"Veronica?" she asked, "What happened?"

"ESPI! WE WERE SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU!" Jake and Andy yelled while running over to the bed.

"Huh? Who are you?" she asked.

Jake and Andy stopped dead in their tracks. "W-w-what?" they stuttered.

"Who. Are. You?" she asked in a 'duh' tone?

Jake and Andy's mouths hung open.

"Guys. Go," I said.

They slowly turned around and walked out of the room.

"What do you remember?" I asked.

"You...the band...that's it," she said.

"That's it!? Don't you remember Gerard or Andy!? We were all best friends in Kindergarten!" I yelled.

"Go," she said.

I sighed and walked out where I saw Jake and Andy.

"Where's Gerard?" I asked.

They shrugged. Then I heard someone scream. It was coming from Espi's room. We ran in there.

"I REMEMBER! I REMEMBER EVERYTHING!" she screamed.

All of a sudden, a doctor walked in.

"We ran a few tests and you are free to go in about an hour," he said.

"I'm going to go find Gerard," I said.

I walked outside the hospital and saw the un-imaginable.

Gerard was making out with a blonde chick. My mouth dropped open and I ran into the bus. I fell to my knees and started crying.

"What's wrong?" Jinxx asked.

I hugged him. He's been like an older brother to me since we got here.

"G-G-Gerard," I stuttered while crying.

Jiinxx just hugged me tighter.

"I saw him. The girl pushed him to the wall. I don't think he meant to," Jinxx said.

I shook my head. "It looked like he was having  a lot of fun," I said.

I thought he loved me.

Why do I have to be so worthless?
