Text message received

Phil- Did you get my address?

Dan- Yes! I will be over in like 20 minutes! I am at the store buying some ingredients.

Phil- Okay cool!

After buying some necessary ingredients I rushed to Phil's apartment. Hopefully he doesn't find it cheesy that I decided to wear my Halloween sweater since we are making Pumpkin spice pumpkin cookies, it's almost Halloween we decided to make something Halloween related for the bake sale.

-20 minutes later-

I knocked on Phil's door and like in 5 seconds he opened the door, and we are in each other's presence.

"Well, aren't we festive people, we are both wearing Halloween related sweaters!" Phil said excitedly. This dork I thought to myself. To be honest, I felt relief that he didn't find it weird. I can't help but laugh and agree with him.

"Whoa, are we baking for all of London?" Phil joked as he saw that I was carrying like 5 bags of groceries.

"Haha I guess I did buy a little too much" I could see Phil shocked yet playful face when he seen everything I got. "I kind of also bought some Halloween decorations. I couldn't help it. I will probably decorate your kitchen. I am sorry in advance." I couldn't help but buy extra stuff. I am an impulsive buyer sometimes.

Phil's apartment wasn't the most organized, but it wasn't messy either. It was actually quite cozy. It reminded me of him. However, the kitchen was a different story. "Phil? Why is there sugar everywhere on your kitchen counter and also why do leave your shelf covers open. You can hit your head by just walking in here" I didn't want to sound mean, I actually thought this was kind of cute. It made me smile, but I was slightly worried. I started to clear off the kitchen counter to put the ingredients.

"Sorry mom," Phil laughed." Lets puts some decorations up, I can see you bought a few friendly ghost streamers and also pumpkins!

We spent like 20 minuets decorating Phil's kitchen and it looked really festive. I couldn't help but to feel proud and just by looking at Phil I could see he was happy and satisfy with the outcome of our creation.

"Okay, lets begin baking!" I said in my most fake manly voice that I could make.

We took out the ingredients and the recipe and started to following the recipe. In a mixing bowl we combined flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger and mashed it together with a whisk. We kept following the recipe.

I am not sure when but out of nowhere we started making up songs while we were baking. It was really fun and then later we discovered that we have very similar taste in music.

Apparently we have the same favorite artist, Muse. We agreed that Origin of Symmetry was the best album. We sang New born, Space Dementia and Plug in Baby.
