A Suprising Side To Hinata

"See ya, Kageyama! Don't forget to lock up!" Said Tanaka, the bald wing spiker. The Karasuno Men's Volleyball club had finished their daily practice. The members had already left, and with Tanaka leaving, the first year setter was left alone now.

Usually, he and a certain carrot-haired shrimp stayed behind to practice tosses and spikes. But Hinata was absent, which was very unusual. The sun head would always come to practice, even if he had cancer.

'Strange'.. Kageyama thought. 'Maybe he caught a fever or something..'

The genius setter didn't want to admit it, but he was worried. After all, Hinata was the only one who begged him to give him tosses, and the only one he'd want to be around with.

Not only that, he might have sorta developed a crush on the tiny middle blocker. Once he realized this, he began to look at Hinata more than he should, getting jealous at every person who'd ever even bat an  eyelash at him, and he felt this desire to pet his orange locks.

The setter blushed at what he was thinking. He isn't always like this, but what can he do? He just loves his partner.

So with further debating with his inner self, the ebony-haired teen decided to visit Hinata.

He picked up the balls and put them into their box and mopped the floor. He then locked the gym and walked towards his destination.

'Okay..just breathe. You are just going to his house, not confessing.' He reminded himself.

Once he reached the Hinata residence, he breathed once again and rang the doorbell. "Coming!" A high pitched voice shouted. Opening the door was Hinata's little sister, Natsu.

The little girl smiled brightly upon seeing Kageyama. "Kageyama nii-chan!" She said happily. The setter patted the little one's head and said, "Hello Natsu, is your brother home?" He asked politely. "He's in his room." She replied. "Come inside."

Kageyama nodded and took off his shoes. "Sorry for the intrusion."

"Ah, is that you Kageyama-kun?" Hinata's mom called out from the kitchen. She stepped out of the room to greet her son's friend, or boyfriend. Either way, they're bound to end up soon. "Shoyou's upstairs. Why don't you see him? He just got a little fever, that's all." She smiled.

The ebony haired teen nodded and went upstairs. So he was sick after all, maybe he's feeling better now.

And when he reached Hinata's room, he saw something something he shouldn't have.

"What the fuck..?" He gasped.

Hinata was playing with toys, lots of them. There were various of them scattered on the floor.One thing was that one of the toys was a stuffed crow who looked just like him.

It was damn adorable that's for sure. 

"K-K-Kageyama!?" The carrot head screamed. He threw all the toys to a corner and panicked. "What are you-"

"So you missed practice because you were playing with dolls?" He said, but he was emitting a deadly aura.

"No! I was really sick! I swear!"

"Shut up, dumbass."

Hinata was shaking like a maraca right now, his partner is pissed. And that does not mean good to him. He gulped, "S-sorry. I promise to practice really hard tomorrow and-"

"What was your little play all about?" Kageyama interrupted.

"Eh?"

"I'm asking you what were you playing about." He repeated.

"Li-like hell I'll tell you!" Hinata tried to sound brave, but miserably failed.

And when he heard Kageyama clicked his tongue, he spilled the beans.

"I was playing about you.." The middle blocker mumbled bashfully. Which resulted in successfully made Kageyama's heart almost stopped in surprise. "You-you..what?" He asked in disbelief. Its not every day your crush tell you this.

Hinata swallowed up all of his pride and continued. "I-I got lonely here and I'm not saying I missed you or anything but I did kind of missed you...?" He blurted unclearly, with a very nervous smile and with shaking fingers.

"You're not making any sense." Kageyama scoffed. But actually, deep inside, he was releasing tons of fireworks in his stomach. "Hinata. Does this mean you.. Like me?" Shit. His mouth talked on its own. No taking that back now.

"As in that way?" The small teen said, flustered. "What else do I mean, dumbass?" Kageyama shot back. "So?"

"I like you, Kageyama." Hinata confessed quickly, his face bright red.

"Well, I don't like you." Hinata's heart broke.

"But I'm in love with you, stupid." He added.

Then, Hinata made the biggest grin he ever did in his entire life. And that grin made Kageyama grab his shoulders and smashed his lips against Hinata's. And needless to say, the middle blocker was shocked. But kissed him back.

Finally they pulled away for the lack of oxygen. Faces were red as hot fire, hearts racing like cars but the Oddball Duo liked the feeling. Hinata's face was clearly showing happiness and beamed up at Kageyama. "Wow, you are really forceful, Kageyama." He remarked playfully. The setter's face was red, now it exceeded the color red. Not sure if we can classify that a human face anymore.

"Shut up and let me kiss you." He said as his claimed the smaller teen's lips once more.

Aftermath.........

"Hinata! I bought you more toys!" Kageyama shouted to his oh so beloved partner. He held up a blue stuffed rabbit, showing it to him.

After they got together, the genius setter began to flood Hinata with love, tosses, and of course, toys. Hinata didn't mind at first, but now his room-no. His whole house was filled with mountains of toys.

"KAGEYAMA PLEASE STOP BUYING ME TOYS!"

"Ah, they get along so well." Hinata's mother fondly commented as she watched the two bicker.
