Chapter One

Star:

As I walk down the street to the school it all dawns on me another new school with no people I trust or can talk to. I just wish someone would talk to me so I didn't feel so alone in these crowded halls. As people sit on there phone and text there already made friends that they've probably known forever I sit alone hidden in my books so I don't feel the hurt and the pain that presses against my heart. I just wrote my notes and hurriedly did so I could read the next part of the book I'm reading "The City of Bones." So excited to read the part where Magnus sees Alec. As I go to start the chapter and the door suddenly swings open so my head fly's up to see a boy frantically talking to the teacher. I looked up at him up and down he had dark brown hair with Hazel eyes and he had a black T-shirt and black jeans. I blushed when I realized he was looking at me too. I looked back down at my book. Then the teacher called all of us to attention."Alright class, calm down. This is Christopher."Christopher gives a wave looking over everyone. "Okay Christopher you can sit next to Star,"he said pointing to me. I blushed looking down. He looked surprised but sat down next to me. Then the teacher started explaining some math thing I didn't understand."So Star,"he said drawing out the R. I looked up at him. Blushing. "y...y...yeah,"I said stuttering looking down at my book wishing it would swallow me whole. "Is it bad that I thought you were a girl?"he asked curiously."N..n..no I'm used to it,"I said stuttering over my words.
