The next morning was horrid.

Finnian and Baldroy laughed their asses off, saying they could hear everything, whenever we crossed paths during work.

Mey Rin couldn't even look at me without blushing and sneaking away when I wasn't looking.

I felt a little bit ashamed of myself until Sebastian pat me on the back and helped me clean the kitchen.

The day passed by quickly, which is the only that made my day positive.

Sebastian and I were dusting and polishing furniture in the foyer when a knock rapped loudly on the front door.

I looked out the window and saw the sun was almost completely below the horizon. "Who could that be at this hour?" I questioned rhetorically.

Sebastian shrugged and stepped towards the door.

I followed in hot pursuit, already wearing one of my gauntlets and was hiding it behind my back.

Sebastian opened the door to show the small blonde kid that came a few months ago. "Why hello, Sir Alois Trancy! What brings you here?" he asked with a smile.

"I came to see Ciel. There's a problem in England that is rising to challenge us." the blonde answered, stepping inside.

Sebastian nodded. "Where is your servant, Claude?" he inquired seeing no one else with him.

"He is currently heading back to my manor. They are preparing for the next sequence of events that will soon unfold." Alois responded.

Sebastian and I accompanied him to Ciel's study and stood near the master.

"So, Alois, what news do you bring me that requires you to come here after dusk?" Ciel interrogated.

Alois stared into Ciel's eye for a few moments. "The grim reapers will soon be upon us." he finally responded.

Ciel stood up and grimaced. "What?!! You better not be lying or I'll have Y/N here turn you into living pepperoni slices!" Ciel dared.

Alois stood up as well. "It is good info as the Undertaker is the one who brought it to me." he informed.

"Wait. You mean the funeral director in London? I can't believe he works for both of us as an informant." Ciel complained.

"It doesn't matter. Prepare for war or you'll be overwhelmed." Alois stated before pulling out a piece of paper. "By the way, you'd be surprised what demons can do..." he continued before disappearing into thin air and the paper burned in a flash of blue flames.

Ciel and I gawked for a few moments before Sebastian clapped his hands together.

"Okay, so the grim reapers are growing in strength or numbers and we need to be ready as they are preparing to attack us and the Trancy household. Shall I inform the others to train and be ready when the time comes?" he stated, looking at Ciel.

The child nodded and Sebastian vanished from where he was standing, moving down the hallway at a blinding speed. "Y/N, stay with the master!" he yelled back.

I nodded and sat in a chair in front of the master's desk waiting for Sebastian to return.

~Half An Hour Later~

Sebastian returned as swiftly as he left. "Sorry for the long wait, Master." he commented, bowing to him.

Ciel smiled. "Actually, that is the fastest you have ever been when you go to inform the other three and return." he admitted, clapping in applause.

I clapped too and smiled.

"Y/N, I think you and Sebastian can head off to bed. I've finished all the necessary paperwork for tonight." Ciel continued.

I turned to him and tilted my head slightly. "A-are you sure, master? Would you like anything else before bed?" I inquired.

"Yes, I'm sure, and no. I'll be fine. Good night, you two." he answered, leaving the study.

Suddenly, Sebastian picked me up bridal style and carried me towards our room.

I had to push my skirt down when we passed Baldroy in the hall so he wouldn't see my undies.

We quickly arrived at our room and he set me down on the bed gently.

"Master, is it alright if I go take a bath?" I asked as I began to change.

"Hmm...That will be alright, but I'm joining you." he allowed, stripping himself of his attire.

We climbed into the bathtub after filling it with warm water and sighed at how it seemed to drain away the stress of our day.

"Aaaah~... Master, I'm honestly afraid of these "Grim Reapers". Will we be okay?" I asked, looking up as I laid back against his chest.

"It will be a tough fight...but I'm sure we'll make it through to the end... Y/N, I must have you know that if Master gives me an order, I have to follow it." Sebastian informed, hugging me softly.

I purred with a smile and let my tail wade through the water. "Okay, master..." I chimed quietly.

He kissed one of my ears, causing me to blush. He's only ever bitten or nibbled lightly on them, so I haven't really experienced anything soft pressed against them besides his cold hands. "Well, we better hurry up. We have work tomorrow." Sebastian commented before washing my hair.

I couldn't help to purr at the sensation.

The bath didn't last long and we both climbed into bed together, falling asleep with ease.
