You and Melody wall into the next room. You see a froggit sitting there so you talk to it a bit. You then go into the nearest room and see candy. Melody takes 3 pieces while you take 2.
You and Melody continue walking. You go through more rooms and encounter more monsters. The puzzles were fairly easy. You even got a few calls from Toriel.
"Which do you two prefer? Cinnamon or butterscotch?" Toriel asked.
"I don't have a preference." You said. Melody agreed with you.
"Perfect." Toriel said hanging up. You both continued walking. You walk into a room with a leafless tree.
"Oh my, that took longer than I thought. I better check on them." Toriel said from the other side of the tree. You heard your phone ring as Toriel walked into view. She saw you two and hung up.
"Oh, are you two alright? Not a scratch, impressive! Come, I have a surprise for you two." Toriel said. She lead you to a small house. Once you went inside, your nose was filled with delight.
"Do you smell that? It's butterscotch cinnamon pie. Follow me." Toriel said. She turned to the hallway on the right. She stopped in front of a door.
"I wasn't able to get another bed so you both will have to share one. I must check on the pie, have fun." Toriel walked out of the hallway. You and Melody walked into the room and started exploring. The room was a dark orange. It wasn't small but it wasn't too large.
"Hey (y/n), let's go see if the pie is done. I'm hungry." Melody said. You nodded and we walked out of the room. You stopped at the stairs in the middle of the room before the hallway. You looked down and wondered what was down there.
"Come on (y/n)!" Melody said.
"Alright, alright. I'm coming." You replied. We walked into what looked to be the living room. Toriel was sitting on a chair reading a book.
"Hello my children. Do you like your room?" Toriel asked. You and Melody nodded.
"The pie is done. It just needs to cool down. While we wait, would you like to read this book with me?" Toriel asked.
"Sure!" You and Melody said in unison. You both sat on the floor and listened to Toriel read the book for a few hours.
"Alright, how about some pie?" Toriel asked. You both smiled and nodded. Toriel walked into what you guessed was the kitchen. After a few minutes, Toriel came back with three plates of pie. She handed you and Melody a slice. You took a bite of the pie and your taste buds were filled with joy.
"This is amazing! What's the recipe?" Melody asked. Toriel's face seemed to brighten up.
"Oh, I will write it down for you! That way you can bake it anytime you wish!" Toriel said. She got up and walked to the kitchen. You yawned and leaned your head on Melody. Toriel came back and handed the recipe to Melody.
"Looks like someone is tired. Why don't we all go to bed." Toriel said giggling.
"Yeah, that sounds good. I know (y/n) definitely needs sleep." Melody replied. Melody helped you up and walked you to your room.
"Goodnight my children." Toriel said.
"Goodnight Mom!" You replied.
"Goodnight Tori." Melody said. You two got dressed for bed and Melody crawled to the side of the bed near the wall. You climbed onto the bed and relaxed. Soon, you fell asleep.
