A Team Rocket Story (Name in Progress)

Chapter 22

I continued to study him for a moment, before something in me finally clicked, "LOKIE! Okay, I remember now..." I laughed, "You were the one who was a fan of Team Rocket and my work.... You purposely robbed banks, Pokemon Centers, and other trainers to eventually find me."

"Yup, I wanted to follow in your footsteps." He nodded, "It's been a while hasn't it?" Lokie grinned.

"How long has it been?" I smiled.

"Bout a year..." He paused, "You've been busy, so I never bothered to talk to you lately..."

"Yeah I'm sorry I haven't talked to you either."

He laughed, "It's fine, I know you're busy."

"Yeah..." I breathed heavily recalling the last incident, "Very." I looked to everyone around me, "All of you!" I yelled, "I'm not battling any of you today, try again later."

Everyone started walking away angrily, growling, cursing, or something of the sort. As the crowd cleared James, and Meowth although he was on James's shoulder, were able to walk over to me. James sighed in relief, "Good, you're okay."

Meowth nodded, "We were worried."

Lokie kind of stood back and watched as I talked to James and Meowth, "Yeah, I'm fine." I sighed, "If Lokie, here wouldn't have had his Pokemon use an attack, I probably would have suffocated...."

"Lokie?" James and Meowth both asked.

Lokie waved to them, "I'm Lokie Shion, it's nice to meet you."

"Well aren't you cheery, for a thief..." Meowth said.

James shook his head at Meowth's comment, but waved back to Lokie, "James. The pleasures all mine Lokie."

I smiled and took my chance to speak, "I kidnapped Lokie."

James and Meowth both looked at me, with wide eyes, "What?!"

Meowth spoke separately now, "Team Rocket thieves steal Pokemon, not people."

"I came willingly." Lokie laughed, "I've seen Tessie pull off a heist right in front of me, three years ago, and ever since then I started thieving to hopefully find her again."

"Eventually, he and I ended up robbing the same place one day. At this time I didn't know who he was, or what he wanted, so I had Arcanine attack him while I did my job." I continued the story.

"Arcanine knocked me unconscious."

"I woke him up after I finished my heist, and demanded info. He told me he looked up to me and wanted to be as skilled a thief as me, so I brought him here."

"And now I'm the second B rank thief!"

"Really? I proud of you!" I laughed.

"Thanks, Tessie! It means a lot, coming from you!" He smiled.

I looked to James and Meowth. They were starting to look bored. I laughed at them and turned back to Lokie, "Well I better get back to training. Thanks a lot for saving me though, Lokie!"

Lokie nodded, "It wasn't a problem! I'll see you around!" Lokie started walking away.

I turned to James and Meowth. James looked a little unsettled and so did Meowth, "What's wrong, you two?" I asked as I started walking inside with Arcanine to get him and my other Pokemon Healed.

James shrugged, "I'm just mad at myself for not being able to to get the riot to stop... I mean I couldn't even save you."

Meowth growled, "And on top of that, a kid, who hasn't even been a thief as long as us, went and showed us up."
