As I stand in front of my wardrobe I think of what I'm gonna wear. I've settled for a pair of light blue jeans and this really cute black shirt, as I go down the stairs I my penthouse I find that my things are already on the counter. I go over to the fridge and get out some orange juice and pour it into a glass when my mother comes bonding down the stairs. She is in a happy mood this morning which is good, I guess. Ever since my dad died two years ago in a car accident she sort of blocked me out of her life when I needed her the most, but I guess I had my best friend Meghan I wouldn't really say she's my best friend more like my sister that I never had. She starts humming a song, I haven't heard her do that in a long time. I finish my juice, say goodbye to my mum and go down to my car. I get start the ignition and drive off to Meghans house to pick her up.
I get to Meghans house and text her saying I'm outside waiting in the car. She comes out and gets in, there is something off though. "Meghan what's wrong"? She takes awhile to answer but then it all comes blurting out...
"Ryan and I broke up last night"
I stop the car and we talk for a little bit but then she reminds me that we have to get to school so I start up the car again and drive off.
