Chapter 6

"My leg is fine Mowgli" I said looking at him "Fine, if you can stand up by yourself and walk I'll stop bugging you" I stood up and walked around then ran in place then stopped "See? I'm good. Can we go?" We were taking a woods trip with the wolves, Baloo and Bagheera. "Sure love, if you promise to stay close" he stood up "Don't have to make me promise" I walked out and he chuckled following me out

We sat down on the grass while everyone else went to find food "You know things were great at my village until what happened" I said thinking, I saw Mowgli nod "My family and I use to fish but I was terrible so I stopped and watched to learn" I laughed a bit "And there was cute boy at the camp but you are my first boyfriend" I smiled and Mowgli grinned "Oh and once I fell down a bunch of berries but they were poisoned" I guess that was it because he stood up and was about to yell "Jo, I don't want to hear about what happened at your village. The thing is I have never been to the human village and you just keep bragging about it. When you're ready to shut up come get me" he walked off and I pulled my hair back not saying anything until I heard a few sounds...sounded like monkeys and I wasn't really afraid of them until one monkey grabbed me and threw me up to another monkey "Mowgli!" he turned around and saw what was going on and so did Baloo and Bagheera. They ran to help but I was already up in the monkey kingdom. I looked up and saw the tombs, I stood up and walked with the monkeys inside "So, Mr. Mowgli seemed to be a bit upset with you yeah?" a big figure said standing in the dark "Who said that?" I asked "The name is Louie, King Louie" The big orangutan walked out of the shadow and I backed up a bit "Tell me. Do you know what the Red flower is?" I nodded "Fire, yes" I said nervously "Well then you know how to start it" I shook my head "No, no I do not. No one taught me" I lied softly "Well until you figure it out, put her in prison!" He screamed and the monkeys took me to the prison.

After a while, I heard a familiar voice say "Hey there need some help?" Mowgli said smiling "Rather get killed" I said turning away "I'm sorry okay? Just a bit annoyed with all the stories. Now come on, Baloo is waiting and Bagheera has the wolves surrounding the place just in case" I stood up and walked out of the prison "Stay quiet" he grabbed my hand and we walked away quietly but a monkey saw us I grabbed a rock and threw it at his head before he could scream "Let's go" I said walking looking around "Going somewhere Joanne?" Louie asked "Welcome back Mowgli" he turned around and looked at us "You two should stay for dinner. We're having banana's". "Um no thanks. Big breakfast" I said and Mowgli nodded as we backed up slowly "Well then let's grab some fire and cook you two. Seize them!" the monkeys chased up and we ran as fast up as we could outside "Baloo! Run!" we got closer and we all ran but I stopped and made fire shooting the monkeys with it. I had put fire on rocks and threw it at each of them. Mowgli helped and when we finally got the monkeys to stop we climbed down the trees and told Bagheera and the wolves to run back to our exploring "The red flower. Did you leave it?" Mowgli asked as we sat down "No, when they stopped I took the fire out before we left" Mowgli stood "Then what is that?" he said as we saw something red and in the jungle "I don't know" I grabbed my bow and arrow that I took on the trip and aimed it at the light "Let's check it out" we walked toward the light and I pulled my bow and arrow down seeing "Ryan?" I asked angrily "You have 3 seconds to tell me why you're here" I aimed at him again "To find you. We need a queen". "Excuse me?" I asked furious "As King I need a queen to help me rule" I looked at Mowgli and we both laughed slightly "Why would I do that?" I asked aiming my bow at the ground "Because if you wanna keep this jungle beautiful and not burned down you will. You have till the end of the night to decide and if you run away I'll still burn the jungle down. If you want a fight we will kill you and your animal friends" he said walking away to his followers "What are we gonna do?" he asked looking at me "I don't know yet"
