Third Person

Dan had been away for 3 weeks and yesterday Phil asked him to come over, he was too jetlagged but today he was so excited to see Phil again, Dan finally finished walking and turned the corner to see Phils house as he quickly ran and pressed his doorbell

The sound of the doorbell made Phil jump up, his heart beating quickly. He sighed and regained himself, walking to the door and smiling brightly once he opened the door. "Dan!" he smiled, pulling him in for a hug.

"OMG Phil hi!" Dan yelled excitedly as he jumped into Phils muscular arms, Dans legs clinging around his waist.

Phil laughed and hugged him tightly, swaying then a small bit as dan clung onto him. "Miss me?" he smirked with another slight laugh, rubbing his back as he kept Dan secure in his arms.

"3 weeks is way to long not to see your best friend." Dan said hugging him tightly, burying his head into Phils neck.

Phil sighed. best friend. When was phil gonna own up and tell him how he really felt? He forced a smile, "Yeah.. I missed you. A lot." he sighed as he hugged him equally as tight, continuing to rub his back as he didn't want to let go.

"Next time I'm taking you on my family holiday, it's so boring even abroad without you." Dan said

Phil smiled warmly, " I don't think your parents like me much." he laughed a little, "Besides. It's good to see your family. I'm sure they loved your company."

"They love you Phil!" Dan said moving himself to look at Phil the face. Dans heart raced, he wanted to kiss him so much but he knew Phil would never like him that way.

Phil smiled, "if you say so.." he sung unsurely, swallowing hard as there was a moment of silence between them, their eyes locked together. now? no.. it's too soon. Phil cleared his throat and set Dan down, brushing off his shirt. He walked over to the living room, sitting on the couch and beckoning dan over to sit next to him.

Dan felt somehow disappointed that Phil didn't kiss him, but then again Phil didn't like him like that. Dan walked over to Phil onto the couch, jumping into his space, Dans heart was beating rapidly and his head was filling with desire for Phil.

Phil smiled over at him, "so how was holiday?" he asked casually, turning to face him fully.

"It was alright, I missed you for like 2 weeks of it so it wasn't great." Dan huffed

Phil smiled sympathetically, aw'ing a little. "why did you miss me? i'm nothing special." he laughed, shaking his head slightly.

"What the fuck did you just say?" Dan gasped turning around to face him.

Phil flinched a little, chuckling at his reaction. "I said I'm nothing special, because I'm not." he shrugged, picking at his skinny jeans.

Dan wanted to turn around and confess his feeling too him but he was just too scared to face the consequences of him not feeling the same way.

"Phil, you're the most amazing person to ever come into my life, I knew that since the day we met. I've told you never to say that about yourself."

Phil was a little taken back, his heart pounding quickly. "aw, Dan.." he smiled a little, swallowing thickly. "you're amazing too. you're the best thing that's ever happened to me.." he got a little choked up, looking down at his fingers.

"Oh my god please don't cry." Dan said before attacking Phil so he was on top of him hugging. "Don't cry I can't handle it, and plus I've missed you so much you can't be sad."
