Chapter 1-It the Start"

So lemme tell you about myself . My name is Melody Johnson . I am Lightskin, I have curly brown hair I am 4'9. I am an only child , my parents got divorced and I am a all A"s student .  My mom just moved and I'm going to a new school. Great . I am in 8th grade and I'm only 13 years old . I'm turning 14 in May.  Okay let get to my story.  So I'm decide to put on a flower dress and have my curly hair out with brown sandals . I get my lunch from the counter and Kiss my mom as I walk to my bus stop.

Mama-"Be good and have a good day at school , I love you Melody" she look at me with concern . Like I was going to do something bad . Mothers .

Melody-"Love you too"! And with that I walked out my door , luckily I don't have to walk far it only up the street.. As I made my way to the bus stop . I notice a two pretty girls and a super cute boy. He was fine as hell man . Anyways I plug in my headphones . I act like I'm on my phone but I can tell the boy kept staring at me which kinda freak me out .  I looked up to see a Dark skinned pretty girl trying to get my attention. She had style but look like one of those clingy girls who are desperate. Anyways I take out my headphones and look at her .

???-"Hey my name is Star and this is my friend Alica she pointed to a Brownskin girl and my brother James .  I gave them both a weak smile .

Melody-"My name is Melody and I just move down here if y'all haven't notice " I did an awakard chuckle. They all nodded

Alica -"Well we would all totally love to get to know you" I nodded at their request.
Star-"James stop looking at her like that she probably thinks your a creep " I smiled at her and turned to James who winks at me , and that made my heart drop I got a weakness for Lightskin boys with hazel eyes. The bus arrived and they told me to follow them to the back . Where they introduce me to a couple of their friends .
Star-"Kenzie,Maurice,Mary, Damien,Jacob, Mikes" the boys wink at me as the girl gave me a friendly wave.  Most of them were 9th graders, and 10th . Which actually cool for them to know them like that . I notice that all of them got tattoos on their wrist. Like a symbol of a dragon .
Melody-"What that on your wrist"
Jacob-"If we tell you, your whole life will change " and right there in than is when my life change .  I'm outside right now , smoking weed with Jacob, Mikes ,Star, James"
Alica is over there giving  Maurice head. Alica finish but something happens it yelling . Me , Star, James run over to Maurice yelling at a scared Alica .

Maurice -"LICK UP MY CUM BITCH"
Alica-"NO THAT FUCKING NASTY"! Her voice breaking .
Maurice-"DONT TRIED ME BITCH"
Alica-"OR WHAT MAURICE " she said with angry feel in her eyes . Maurice punched her hard and she falls to the grounds . I run over and yell at him.
Melody-"WHAT THE FUCK" and with that he punched me leaving me a black eye. I sit in the concer crying as I'm shaking Alica . She won't wake up . She has blood on her . Star  get a wipe and wipe everything up on her face and starts walking .

Melody-"Where are you going " my voice breaking

Star-"Will call 911 but if we stay we all get arrested " I look at her with disbelief. What is wrong with her.

Melody-"What we can't just leave her " I looked at Star who has no emotion at all about Alica , or what just happen..

Star-"Yes , she be fine  we have to go " she picked me up and we walked away. I feel guilt streamed over me . I give Maurice a glare as I walked past him. I was shocked when he hit me because he never did that to me . But it all about my family man it all about the blood man. We got each other all the time even through our fights . I come inside around 12:00am because I didn't feel the need to go straight home so me and Jacobs made some errands .  As I walked in I see my mom filled with angry in a chair waiting for my return.  I walked upstairs so I can go to bed because I'm tired .
