She comes home tomorrow and I'm so excited to see her again. Two months is too long. I really don't know what I'm gonna do when we go on tour because it's gonna be so ruff. All I've been able to think about is her and I'm pretty sure the guys are getting pretty sick of me talking about how soon she'll be home soon and how I wont want to leave her once she's here. They joke with me saying I'm whipped and it's true but mostly, I just missed her.
All this time we've been rehearsing and enjoying the time off before we head out for warped tour. It's been very relaxing but I really just wanted to spend time with Miranda. With all that had happened, from her ending up in Cassell's bed to drinking too much, I was a little stressed out just worrying about her. The guys knew that it was a little risky for her not to be watched while around Oli, especially with all that we've heard recently.
"Do you really think that Oli did something like that?" Vic said as he grabbed us all a beer.
"I don't know but I've seen him when he's wasted and I just don't trust him around Miranda. I don't want her to get hurt. I don't even know if the guys told her about it while they were on tour." I said with a sigh and a sip from the bottle.
"The only way we'd really know is if we asked him. She was probably fine with AA and ATL, honestly." Mike said simply.
"Yeah, they wouldn't let anything bad happen to her. Shit, Jack and Alex alone are like her older brothers!" Tony said with a chuckle and I nodded, smiling remembering what they had said when they found out we were dating.
"When does she get in?" Vic asked and I checked my phone.
"Tomorrow at ten." I started smiling like an idiot just knowing that she'll be home again in just a few hours.
"Jaime and his Miranda withdrawals again." Mike chuckled while I rolled my eyes. They all could see I was in love with this girl, she's changed me so much without even realizing it and I'm so glad that she even came into my life. Thank god she moved from Connecticut, took a job with Live Nation and worked a show for us or my life would never been so filled with happiness.
We talked and hung out for a while longer, chatting about all of the plans that have been made for this year thus far and it would definitely be one of the more busy ones we've had in awhile.
Soon we all dispersed to go home and rest. I laid in bed, looking at the ceiling unable to fall asleep for the excitement of my girlfriend coming home was too much for me to rest.
After waiting, resting my eyes for a few hours at most, it was finally time to head off to the airport to go and pick her up. I had arrived at the airport far earlier than I had planned so I got her a coffee and a bagel for when she got off the plane. I'm sure she'll be exhausted and I know her love for coffee is too strong.
In my passing of the waiting areas, a place that sold flowers caught my eye and I picked up her favorites; those orangey pink roses.
I was unable to keep myself still while I waited. I kept going up to check the board where all the flights were listed and finally her plane had arrived. I stood, waiting to see her and other passengers come out of the terminals, bouncing slightly with nervous excitement.
Then I saw her. Her hair was up in a bun and she was in sweats but she looked beautiful. The smile that broke onto both of our faces was probably enough to make even the most cold hearted person smirk.
"I missed you so much." She mumbled as I pulled her into my arms.
"You don't even want to know how much I've missed you." I sighed. She smiled brightly and I noticed the ring that I had gotten her still tied around her neck.
"I got you breakfast and something else." I chuckled as I handed her the bag with the bagel in it and the cup of coffee and pulled the flowers up from behind me.
"I just got back, you didn't have to buy me flowers." She smiled, tired but happy.
"I wanted to, figured it would perk you up." She chuckled and we started walking down to baggage claim.
"You're so sweet." She smiled as we got to the belt of rotating luggage.
"And you're hot." I winked and chuckled. She rolled her eyes and playfully smack my arm.
We got her bags and walked to the car, I put her bags in the trunk and smiled when I sat in the car. She was drinking her coffee and smelling the roses, smiling.
"I can't wait to sleep in a bed again." She sighed with a smile.
"That's always the best part of getting off tour." I started up the car and we began the journey home.
She fell asleep not long after we started driving. She looked so peaceful and happy while passed out in the passenger's seat.
A long drive and a grumpy wake up, we were back at her place. I had brought all her things up and she was already passed out on her bed, fast asleep again.
I was wide awake, lying on the couch while she slept off her jet lag.
A few hours later, she woke up and hopped into the shower. I ordered us some dinner and it had arrived just as she got out of the shower.
"You're too nice to me." She mumbled with a smile.
"That's how a boyfriend should be to his girlfriend." I smiled and made her a plate of the chinese food I had ordered.
We sat on the couch, enjoying the rather unhealthy meal and then she spoke up, not looking away from the TV screen at all.
"They told me about Oli." She said timidly and I nearly choked on my bite of food.
"Yeah.." I said hesitantly.
"Do you think he would actually do something like that?" She asked, looking to me, a blank yet thoughtful stare on her face.
"I don't know... Nobody really knows, we all just kind of keep all the girls away from him until someone finds out." I said and she nodded. The quiet surrounded us once again but not for long.
"Is that why you were so worried about me going on this tour?" She asked and I nodded.
"I just worried in general really. I know how much those guys like to party and get rowdy sometimes and I don't know, I just didn't want anything to happen to you." I shrugged and I was embraced into a set of arms.
"Thank you for caring so much and being so sweet all the time. I'm sorry I didn't call you that often or keep up and I'm sorry I blacked out that night." She sighed and I chuckled. She looked up at me, her eyes slightly glossy.
"It's okay, I know how weird tours can get and how hard it is to keep in contact everyday." I shrugged it off and she just stayed, tethered to me as we sat on the couch.
We relaxed for the rest of the night. The guys wanted to come over but I told them no, I wanted Miranda to myself for at least one night. As much as the guys may have missed her, she was my girlfriend and I wanted to be with just her tonight.
She was all I could ever want and more. She's the light of my life... of everyone's life. I loved her more than I could truly express to her, if she were to leave me or something were to happen to her, I would be crushed.
