Chp 16: An Untold Story

In Boston, Zelena and Renee are looking for Grace and Henry in Boston, but they have lost the tracker because as Grace left her phone on the bus, as she knew Renee placed the GPS tracker app on it. After she shows the lady the picture of Grace on her phone, Zelena grabs Grace's phone and throws it in the trash. Suddenly, Zelena's anger lights the trash on fire, and Renee makes it go away. They also discover that magic can work outside of Storybrooke, as Grace has taken the crystal and the magic. Zelena then uses a needle on Renee's bloody finger on the map where to find Grace and Henry, leading them to New York City.

In The Unknown Realm: Regina, Dorothy, Edward, and Rumple soon find themselves in a new realm, but Regina has no way to return as the wand broke upon arrival. The four come across a frightened groundsman who warns them they shouldn't be there, only to have another man appear and use magic to knock the unwanted visitors out. Hours later, they wake up in a cage of enchanted bars and are greeted by the warden, who believes that the Shadow Lord must have sent them, they are enemies. They convince the warden that Facilier is their enemy as well, and their arrival was an accident on his part in trying to gain more power. However, the warden keeps them prisoner anyhow. The groundsman then visits the four, and agrees to help them if they will take him to Storybrooke. After Regina gives the groundsman the broken wand to repair, the orderly, Poole, finds him and takes the wand, then pours a blue potion down his throat which turns him into the warden himself. It turns out that the groundsman is actually Dr. Jekyll, and the warden is Mr. Hyde. He uses the wand, to conjure the Light One's dagger from Rumple's jacket. Hyde plans to get vengeance on Facilier with the help of the Light One.

New York City: It's discovered that Grace and Henry have arrived, as Renee's blood traced them to Grace, but it also leads Facilier to his whereabouts. At Liam's apartment, Grace tells Henry that her father was trying to destroy magic before he came to Storybrooke and end up marrying her mom. So they make plans to find his journal. Hours later, Zelena and Renee shows up to the place, and Zelena finds the memory potion in her pocket and decides to take the potion, which triggers Zelena's memories of her binging pregnant. Zelena now realized that she and Grayson has a child together and admits she will never be at peace with herself as she wondered how she could be a loving mother to her daughter if she become the Wicked Witch again because she feels cursed and will never find redemption, realizing that the more good that she does, the more people she loses. And before Renee can convince her, darkness has started to consume Zelena again. They are unaware that Facilier was listening to their conversation. At the library, Grace and Henry look for more answers and Grace finds multiple "Heroes And Villains" storybooks containing different stories. Henry then sees a brass duplicate of the Holy Grail, which was said to hold all magic. Grace uses her powers to conjure the item from within the glass, and Grace stashes it in her bag, after seeing that it is capable of sapping magic from the Olympian Crystal. Facilier then catches up with them, puts them both to sleep and leaves with the crystal. Renee and Zelena later find Grace and Henry, but Grace leaves out the part about finding the Holy Grail, realizing that their magic is ineffective again, due to Facilier's actions. Zelena uses a needle on Grace's finger to find out whether Facilier is still in New York. They place the blood from Grace's bloody finger on the map, but the magic isn't working, because Facilier is at the Hotel, and he stripped them of their magic, by means of the crystal.
