You Don't Know Me But...

chapter 2

Kelly lead me up the stairs to his office. He opened the door for me, motioning for me to sit. I couldn't sit I was to nervous.
"You said you wanted to speak to me."
"Yes Mr.Severide you may want to sit down."
How was I supposed to say this? will I be able to tell him? there is no turning back now.
" My name is Jessica and I'm your daughter."
He sat there not saying anything just staring.
"Say something please" I needed to know what he was thinking
"This is not possible, I have never had a kid" He pause for a while "How do you even know I'm your dad and where's your mom?"
I gulped taking a minute "My mom died two days ago her last words were 'everything you need to know is under my bed' so I went home and looked. The only thing there was a box I pulled it out and opened it and it had my birth certificate, letters, pictures, and a note to you." I handed everything to him. Kelly sat there utterly shocked as he read everything over. When he got to the note he looked like he was going to cry.
All he could say was " I'm so sorry, I wish I would have known"
