Emmett❤️

~

I wake up with blurry vision. There wasn't any pain either in my foot or head. I look around to clear my vision, and I see the sudden color of orange. I start to see the clearness of things.  Emmett was asleep with his head on the cot in which I sat in. He was wearing an orange tank-top. His shoulder muscles stretched his tank-top in the position of which he slept.

"Emmett," I say while tussling his hair. He wakes with dark circles under his eyes, and a sleepy expression. He took me in seeming not to understand with dearey of sleep. His expression got bright once he understood.

"Jets, you're awake," a crooked grin crosses his face.

"Ya," I look at him for a moment then say, "I have no pain in my head or foot anymore." I told him.

"Well that's a long story, but when the ground shook a rock got loose from the wall and hit you in the head. We got a ladder, grabbed you unconscious, then I carried you to the camp. I put you in my hut, so I could see how you were healing." He looked worried a little, and embarrassed.

"What's the long story?" I ask him. He took a breath then he told me.

"Well when we got back I laid you down on my bed. I started to look at your leg and head. Your head had a gash from where the rock hit you. Your ankle was bruised and bloody. I put my hands on your ankle I could just tell your ankle was broken. I started to think, wanting to take away your pain, and wake you up. Well when I opened my eyes your ankle was free of bruises and I could feel the bone back in place. Your head... the gash was healed and gone with a tiny scar left." He bent over and kissed my scar on my head. His lips soft and gentle on my skin. I smile with heat rushing to my cheeks. He sits back down in his chair.

"Jets I'm glad you're ok," He whispers to me, close to my face.

"So does this mean you're a healer of some kind?" He gives me a throaty laugh.

"I guess I am," His eyes sparkle.

"Emmett come out here!" Ty, the guy with blonde hair and freckles, joyfully calls from outside the hut. Emmett helps me out of bed and holds me steady for a couple steps. I start to feel the pressure of weight on my ankle, and feel no pain. I lean off of him, but he keep hold of my hand as we headed out.

I came outside to the sight of Aden sitting on a wood bench with a large tiger laying across her feet. It was sleeping soundly, loud purrs coming from it. His orange and black played in the early morning sun. My eyes go wide and I take a step back. Emmett steps in front of me as a protection.

"Ty, what the hell? You're just letting that tiger be by her?" Emmett voice suddenly angry.

"Just watch," Ty said not even fazed with Emmett. Zay went up to the tiger, and sat on the ground beside him. She pet his head awake.

"Hey wake up Chuck." The large tiger eyes fluttered open. Chocolate eyes sparkled as the tiger purred at Zay's touch. It stood up, rubbed his head against Zay, then pranced over to Emmett and I. It's eyes danced around our hands in each others. I could have sworn I seen a grin curl on the tiger's lips. As the tiger got close it started to disappear in black smoke.

"Jetia?" Emmett looked over at me with confused expression. I shook my head and turned back to the smoke. It was starting to subside. In the place of the tiger, Chuck was standing grinning. The same chocolate eyes, dancing.

"Chuck I like the tiger a lot better then the gorilla," Aden was telling him as she went to stand beside him.

"What was that?" I questioned him. Coming out behind Emmett.
