Travis's POV

Once again I fell to the ground, my cheek stinging as Katelyn was stomping off, screaming insults at me in the process. I give a slight chuckle knowing what she's missing out on but quickly the chuckle turned into a sigh. Maybe Katelyn was right, I may just be a sick loser. The thought of finding another person to flirt crossed my mind and my sorrow soon turned to excitement. I stood up, walking to find my next target. After a few minutes of walking I began to hear a noise from the bush next to me. Looking to my left I continued walking. Turning forward, I slam into a blackish figure, causing us both to jump back in surprise.

"Watch it!" Zane snarled, his light blue eyes filled with rage, however slightly softening at the sight of me.

"Hey, Zane! Sorry." An odd thought came to mind as I stared at him; however I quickly shook it off. "How're you doin?"

"Why do you care?" Zane hissed through his teeth.

"Just ask'n."

"Whatever..." He looked to the side, in some kind of thought by the looks of it. The idea once again came to mind and instead of ignoring it, I let it sit in my mind till it left my brain and escaped through my lips.

"Hey, can I go to your house?"

"Excuse me?" His attention was brought back to me, a look of confusion and annoyance on his face.

'I'm bored, so can I go to your house?"

"No." he began to walk past me, his pace a little quick. I followed.

"Why not?"

"Because I don't like you. Now leave me alone." A slight pain could be felt in my chest but I played it off.

"That hurt Zane. Right here." I put my hand on my chest, giving him a pained expression.

"Good." And he turned a corner and left me to stand there as I was now stuck in thought. The idea of going to his house began to overtake my mind and I soon found myself following Zane, hiding whenever he turned around. After a while of stalking, we came up on his house. He unlocked his front door and went in. I went around back, finding a window open. Climbing through I soon realized I was in his room. It was large, with his bed in the middle and his shelf with My Little Horsey figures strewn all about. Even with these colorful figures his room was mostly black and grey, typical really. Opening his closet, I was once again greeted with clothes of black and grey neatly folded and hung up. Looking at his collection I turned to close the door, however a shirt that had been thrown to the corner caught my eye. I walked over and picked it up, its turquoise color letting it show through the mess of black. The shirt was mine. I had lost it several weeks ago and could never find it. However the main question on my mind was how it got into Zane's closet. The sound of footsteps quickly snapped me back to reality, causing me to jump into the closet and quickly shut the door. He opened his door and came in, muttering to himself in the process.

Zane's POV

"Why must I have to run into him of all people?" I hold my hand to my chest, it racing at the thought of Travis wanting to come over. "Goddammit! Why do I have to feel this way... Why do I feel it towards him?! What is this feeling anyway? Garroth said it was love... No, that's preposterous! I can't be in love with that white haired fool! He's immature and stupid! Although he is funny and charming...gah! Stop it Zane! It's not like he feels the same about you anyways..." the tight feeling in my chest continues to grow as I feel a yearning to be with Travis. I walk towards my closet, knowing that what I want is in my closet. Opening it I am surprised to see a white haired boy with a goofy smile staring back at me.
