The Monster Within

"Wake up" I heard a voice say I didn't know if it was a dream or if it was real "Rydel" I heard it call my name but I didn't pay much attention to it "WAKE UP!!" My eyes flew open and I sat on my bed gasping for air "what the fuck" I huffed out I look at the time it was 3:45am "crap" I get up from my bed and drag myself to the bathroom and splash some water on my face and looked at my reflection I had bags under my eyes, my skin looked flushed, I was a mess every night I keep getting the same weird dream that waked me up at the same damn time as I walk back to my bed something caught my eye "what the?" I said to myself I saw a face with big round yellow eyes with a big evil grin that reach from ear to ear, it was tall with long arms sharp nails, I didn't know what to do it began to move towards me I was frozen in sight but for some reason I snap out of my shock and switched the light on and it was gone I didn't know what it was and how it got in my room but most importantly what did it want with me, I climb into bed and try to drift back to sleep and just when I'm starting to slip into slumber a low rumble of noise hits me with a loud scream "RYDEEEEEEEEL!!!!" I jumped up ones again and it was morning, this time I could stay in bed i had to get up so I did, I got dress and head to school as I walked down the street I realize something was different but I just couldn't put my finger on it, I looked around and it all seem kinda dead looking like someone had died and everybody was in morning but maybe I could be mistaken, anyway I continued walking down the street and a random flying paper hit me on the chest when I remove it and look at it, I got a spin chilling fear run all over me "Wake up Rydel" I looked around to see if anybody was watching me but the streets were empty, crumbled the paper and shoved it in my pocket and quicken my step and out of no were a voice says calls my name I quickly turn around "who's there?" no one responded so iIcontinued to walk "I can see you" the voice whispered in my ear I jumped up and began to run " you can't escape me" a creepy laugh said to me, tears began to pour out of me eyes I looked every were I was all alone "go away" I screamed but all I keep hearing was laughter I couldn't take it I didn't even go to school I ran and ran and did stop but I was running out of air I stop and collapsed on my knees and tried to breathe "oh poor little girl" breathless I continued to search for the voice "she can't breath...I can fix that" in that moment everything went dark.
