Hello, my name is Cleo Alexander. I'm 15 years old, and I just moved to this little town called Knoxville, Tennessee. I have long dark brown hair, and bright blue eyes! (Grins) Daddy use to tell me they looked like the beautiful blue sky. That's why when it got dark I had to close my eyes and go to sleep, so the sun can sleep. As I got older though I realized, that no matter what, the sun was going to "sleep." Whether or not I closed my eyes. I guess that is one of the reasons it sucks to grow up. Your imagination eventually gets stolen by reality.
We had to move from where we use to live, in Alabama, because daddy couldn't afford our house anymore. Something happened with the stalk market, I don't really know. I just over heard mommy and daddy talking about it. Then next thing I know we were moving. The only thing I don't like about the idea of being here in this new town, is all my friends are back home. At least I get a fresh start, a new beginning. Maybe I will meet newer and even nicer people. Maybe even gain new friends.
I started out my first day in my usual outfit. Jeans and a t-shirt with my converse. I usually wear black I really don't have a good reason why. I just have always liked the color black. It just makes me feel warm, and safe.
When i walked into my first class with my books in my arms, and pencil in my hand.
The teacher looked at me and smiled, then said "Hello, my name is Mrs. Emily! What is your name?"
I gulped and said "My name is Cleo."
She laughed "Don't worry, you can sit over there." She pointed her finger towards the center of the class. I gulped again and walked over to the desk, and sat down. I looked around the room at all of the different students looking from the corner of my eye to the other, to make it less obvious, and sighed. It was like every other school. There are jocks, there are nerds, and there is...well me. Then thought to myself, "This is going to be an interesting."
