2 A.M. (After Maikai)

It was an average day of school. I was sitting in social studies not paying attention. I looked over to my friend Anna who was half way paying attention half way on her phone.

I went down to clean my glasses when Ms. Rogers looks over. "Macie get off your phone and pay attention." I had this look of slight terror.

"I was cleaning my glasses." I hold up my glasses and see Anna laughing.
"Well it looked like you were on your phone." Ms. Rogers goes back to the lesson.

The bell rings and Anna and I race to lunch. We have to beat Zoe and Felicia at the lunch table or we sit on the table outside of it. When we enter the lunch room Zoe and Felicia run past us and take a seat. I sit next to this kid named Kai. Kai and I were finger buddy's then hand buddy's then we don't talk to each other buddy.

Kai was talking to a blonde kid named Sam who was siting next to Alyson. The best way to describe Alyson was well drunk. Anna sat next to me and started to drink "water" from her water bottle.

I open my phone to play Pokemon when
"Is that Carl." I almost can't make out he is saying since he has half a zebra cake in his mouth.

"More like my husband." I loved Chandler Riggs and I will marry him.

"We should watch the walking dead together sometimes."Kai was short but had grown since the last time we were friends.

"Kai are you going to Netflix's and chill Macie." Anna was now drunk like always but no one ever would think she was drunk.

"Anna FUCK OFF." Kai says as he gives her the middle finger. Anna returns the favor.

The story behind Kai and I is kinda complicated. We were best friends and always held hands like friends do. Then Kai got a girlfriend she saw Kai and I and got pissed. She told Kai never talk to me again or she was going to break up with him. I told Kai to stop talking and stay with Abby. Then we stopped. Even after the break up we haven't talked since 9th. Now we're in 11th grade. It feels weird talking to him since I had a massive crush on him. 

I look over to see Jacob mixing food together and Haley yelling at him. Anna leans over and puts her "water" in the mix as well.

"If I eat the mix Kai and Macie will go on a date." Anna says as she picks up a spoon. She gets hold of the mix.

"What's in it." Kai says as he covers up his cute nose.

"Ranch, apple sauce, water, mayo, and 2% percent milk." I then smell the mix and it smells like hell. No joke it smells like hell and I would know.

"Okay fine I will ask out Macie if you eat that shit." Kai says.

"1 2" I shove the spoon into Anna's mouth and it gets everywhere. Anna then rubs the junk onto the table. Everyone in squad starts to laugh. That's when Carly runs over.

"Guess what guys. Ariel is coming to Waukee and gets to live with me. Anna what the fuck happened to you." Carly's face changes when she sees Anna face covered in junk.

"Macie I will get you back one of these days You will regret this day." Anna turns around and leaves.

"So you want to come over." I look over to Kai and realize that he just asked me out. Holy shit my 8th grade fantasy is coming true. This felt weird.

"MaiKai is back on you know that means... I can write smut on it." Carly says as she pulls out her phone. Oh great now my love life is out in the public.
