Chapter 1

I got out of the car. "New house, new beginning." My dad said getting out of the car too. "Whatever dad." I said looking at the house. "Come on its not that bad." My dad said trying to cheer me up. "It will though." I said grabbing my stuff out of the car. I walked into the house there was a big kitchen. "Dad I think you're going to like this!" I yelled smiling, remembering my dad loves to cook like my mom. He walked in. "This is great." He said happily hugging me. I walked down the hall, there was a small bathroom and there was a small bedroom too. "Wow." I whispered to myself. I went up the stairs down the hall to a huge bedroom. I walked into the bathroom that wasn't huge but wasn't small. I put my stuff on the ground walked to the closet. I opened the door to see it was a small walk-in closet. "This is awesome." I said happily. I ran downstairs to see a woman talking to my dad. "Well I have to go but I will talk to you later Joe." She said. She had short blonde hair, asian, skinny and tall maybe because of her tall heels. She closed the door behind her. "Whose that?" I asked. "That was the girl who gave us the house for free." My dad said. "Cool but she didn't have to come over." I said rudely. "She wanted to see if we were o.k with the house." He said. Then there was a knock on the door. I opened the door to see a woman with blonde hair and green eyes. "Hi I'm Mrs. Dolan, I live right across the lawn." She said. "Hi I'm Joe." My dad said walking up to the door. "We're having a party for the whole black so I was wondering if you wanted to come?" She said sweetly. I looked at my dad hoping for a no until he smiled. "Sure let's go." He said grabbing the keys to the house and we walked out of the house.
