These days the hustle and bustle of the city can get you, and you inwardly miss the countryside of (your country). But you're here now on a bus, trying to make ends meet with two jobs. At the daytime, you prefer to work at the garden center, your love of nature keeps you calm. However at night, you work as a bartender, making drinks of sin while pushing off the pigs that call themselves men. Despite this bravery, you were very shy and kept to yourself most of the time unless need be. You sighed and came out of the bus, the sun starting to set over Boston. Your jacket covered your black crop top and you pulled at your leather jeans hugging your curves. 'oh god..' Your leather boots clicked faster as you passed a group of men, wolf whistles can be heard causing you to gag inwardly. You'd always detest wearing things like this, drawing attention to yourself. Today though, your friend and the owner of the bar and club decided to torture you today and swap your uniform. You suddenly froze as you felt something watching you. You looked around you, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. However you can't shake this feeling.
Like a predator was lurking through the shadows.
You continue on, still uneasy and cautious. It was like you were being undressed in who.. or whatever's eyes. 'Finally!' You thought in relief as you ran inside your place of employment and slammed the door. You release a breath before walking in the break room and lean against the wall.
"(Y/N)?"
You perked at your best friend and owners voice. "Olivia!" You sigh as you try to calm your nerves. "Are you alright? You look like you've seen a ghost!" The said woman stated, holding her hand to your forehead. "If you were sick, you need to let me know!" You shook your head and moved her hand away. "It's okay, I'm fine now!" Olivia crossed her well built arms and sighed. "It's two jobs that tire you out! You work too hard! And are you eating properly? You look malnourished!!" You sigh at her nagging. She is old enough to be YOUR mother, and Olivia takes advantage of this. You never were good at making friends. But when you do, it's someone older then you. You've been told you have a 'old soul' in you. "Yes, yes, I ate! It's time for me to clock in!" You walked past Olivia before smiling at her.
"Don't you walk away, young lady!!"

The music was pumping through your veins as the night began. The place was busy today, but you remained calm and continued to make drink orders.
"Looks like you have your hands full!"
You blinked and looked at your regular visitor, body relaxing at his goofy grin. Alexander was a frequent visitor at the bar. 'He probably comes here for you!' Olivia teased you one time before you opened, causing your face to heat up. Alexander was a handsome young man. Long black hair to his waist that was tied up in a ponytail, few strands of hair fell on his face. His brownish red eyes held back his mischief. His skin was slightly pale but look smooth to the touch. Alexander had a slight low Scottish accent that makes you suddenly weak at the knees sometimes. He would at times tease you, he knew that you were timid as much as you tried to hide it. "Looking good there, Lass! I love your outfit!" His grin widened at your flustered form. You playfully glare at him. "I had no choice, you know Olivia.." He busted out laughing and winked at you. "Maybe I'll ask her to clothes shop for ya more often!" You shook your head amusingly and set a drink in front of him. "Your usual: Bloody Mary." You flinch as he grasped your hand as it retreats. His face no longer filled with mischief, but of concern. "Darlin' are you doing alright? You don't seem yourself... Did something happen?" He squeezes your hand, anger seeping from his face making you shiver. "If ANY of these bastards touched you I swear-" You took your hand back and smile to try to calm him. "Its nothing! I'm fine! No one did anything, I promise." Alexander stares at you up and down before sighing. "All right, if ya say so.. Don't hesitate to get me if someone is messin' with ya." His grin returned and held his fist up. "They'd be getting a good beat down from me!" You giggled and nodded.
