Shannon's pov
I just got settled when Tom came around, a tree .
"What are you doing? Are you spying on Maddy and her family?!" Tom questioned.
"It's for evidence when the secret out this will prove that they aren't dangerous." Shannon was explains when howling echoed in the distance.
"You hear that?" Tom asked, looking towards the sound.
Shannon nodded and started to close the laptop. A wolf stop in front of them, the first though that came to mind was that it might be Ryhdian.
Shannon was the first one to speak, "Ryhdian?"
The wolf wagged its tail in response and other howls sounded and then Ryhdian bolted into the woods, looking frightened.
"He brought friends," Tom spoke, looking off in the direction the sounds came from.
"I don't think those are friends." It dawned on Shannon that Rhydian had run away when he heard them; Shannon grabbed her laptop and dashed away calling over her shoulder,"Run."
"Wait for me!" Tom called following her lead.
"No! You catch up." Shannon said not slowing down, if anything speeding up.
Maddy's house.
That's where Shannon headed and when they got there Rhydian was already here. He was scratching on the door of the den. They opened the it and Rhydian jumped in. The two of them were cornered by the other wolves, leaving them no choice, but to follow Rhydian into the den. They made sure they closed the doors behind them and locked them.
"That was close." Tom breathe a breath of relief.
"Yeah. Too close." Shannon agreed.
