A few hours have passed...

I was about to sleep when the door opened again.

It's a nurse.

She gave me a glass of water.

I drank it.

I felt myself get rehydrated.

The nurse smiled and nodded at me.

I nodded back and she left the room.

A few minutes after the nurse left, Auntie D entered.

"Can you speak now?" She asked.

At first I let out a squeak.

Then I finally spoke.

My voice was a bit dry and weak, But atleast I could talk.

"What happened?" I asked.

Auntie D thought for a moment.

"You got hit by a drunk driver while you were heading to school." She said.

"Damages?" I asked.

"Both arms. Cut off." She said.

"Oh." I muttered.

I looked at what supposed to be my arms, but found wooden ones instead.

I teared up a bit.

But I didn't let them out.

No.

"I guess I'll be living armless now." I said.

I could see Auntie D's face, It's full of hurt.

"I'm sorry this happened to you." She said.

"Don't be." I said, smiling.

"I'll get used to this eventually." I continued. She smiled back.

"I guess you got your mother's personality." She said, chuckling.

Wait. I built limb enhancers!

"Hey Auntie?" I called out.

"Yes, Dear?" She said.

"When can I get out off here?" I asked.

She laughed after my statement.

"Tomorrow, Dear. Why? Excited to see someone?" She said, Giggling.

I blushed.

"Auntie!" I said, giggling.

"Haha. Well you should get some rest. You'll need some energy tomorrow." She said, walking off.

"Kay." I said.

She left the room.

Hopefully the limbs will work functionally.
