Chapter 16

Veronica's POV

I stood outside the bus while smoking a cigarette. It was the first time I've ever smoked. And it seemed to take the pain away.

I felt my cigar being yanked out of my grasp. I look up and see Jinxx.

"Don't smoke," he said.

I sighed.

"Espi is looking for you," he said.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Let her go take care of herself so she can remember you guys. I don't feel like talking to her," I said.

"Why not?" Jinxx asked.

"She babies me. She talks to me as if she's a mother and I'm her daughter who had her first period," I said.

Jinxx laughed. "She's trying to help," he said.

I shrugged. "I actually just don't feel like talking at all," I said.

"You like Gerard, don't you?" he asked.

"I love him," I said, "And now I feel like as if I've been played with," I said.

"You are going to talk to Espi," he said.

"NNNOOOO!!!!" I whined, "I DONT WANT TO TALK AT ALL!"

He groaned. "Too bad. Then you're talking to me," he said.

"Fuck you, Jeremy," I said, using his real name.

"If you EVER call me that again, I'll get you," he said.

I snorted. "Yeah, okay," I said sarcastically.

"You'll see," he said with a smile.

"You're a fucking perv," I said.

"Why thank you."

I rolled my eyes.

"Want to go back on the bus?" he asked.

Before I could say no, he scooped me up and ran on.

"PUT ME DOWN!" I yelled.

He put me down and I saw Espi standing there with a worried expression.

"OMG! ARE YOU OKAY!? ARE YOU HURT!? HOW COULD GERARD DO THIS!? YOU SHOULD KILL HIM THEN HUNT DOWN THE BLONDE CHICK! OMG!!!! ANSWER ME!" she yelled.

"How about you give me a chance?" I asked, while laughing.

"Okay. I'll leave you ladies to it. I'm gonna go practice guitar," he said.

"NNNOOOO!!! DONT LEAVE ME!" I said.

"Don't worry. I'll send in Ashley," he said.

"DONT WORRY!?" me and Espi shouted.

"WE SHOULD BE WORRIED OUT OF OUR FUCKING MINDS IF ASHLEY'S GOING TO BE ALONE IN A ROOM WITH TWO GIRLS!" I yelled.

I turned to Espi. "I thought you didn't remember Ashley," I said.

"No. I only don't remember those two other guys. I think their names are John and Adam or something....," she trailed off.

"Jake and Andy," Jinxx corrected her, "I'll send Ashley in. Bye!" Then he walked off, leaving me with my mouth hung open.

"Why not CC?" Espi whined.

"Apparently he wants us to be raped," I said.

At that moment, Ashley strolled in. "Wazzup ladies? The Purdy man is here to make everything better," he said like a moron.

Oh no.

He walked over to us. "Which one of you wants to get layed first?" he asked.

Espi picked up a lamp and threw it at him. He ducked then ran out.

"Thank god," I said.

"Okay. So, I cracked Gerard's jaw open and I hope he'll never be able to kiss again," Espi said.

"You didn't have to do that. He clearly doesn't want me. I'll find someone else...," I said.

"I actually did have to do that. That man-whore deserved it," she said.

"I guess you're right...," I  said quietly.

It's a shame. I really, truly do love Gerard.

I wish he loved me back.
