"Vesi, dear!"
Mamdem Sara called up. At first, I ignored her, and continued to look at myself in the mirror. I had dark blue, yes, blue, hair with light blue streaks. I had never dyed my hair. Not once. It was all natural. But, it wasn't my hair that ussally got people's attention. It was my eyes. They looked like the ocean, they were a mix of the light colour of the ocean, and the near black of the bottem of the ocean. My father said I looked like my mother, not that I would know. She died when I was born, Januaray 21rst. Both of our brithdays.
"Vesi Valtamer Itala! Get you butt down here! NOW!" Sara called up again.
"Yes Sara!" I called down in my Finnish accssent. I quickly went down the hall, and down our winding stairs, coming into our large entering room, and saw the old wrinkly face i've loved all my life. "Dad!!"
"Hey fishy!" He turned around, beaming at me. "How's my little water bug?"
I hugged him tightly, "Great! I still can't believe I'm going into my last year of high school!"
His smile faded. "About that... Vesi..."
"Yeah?" I pulled back from my father, and looked at him,
"Well, my old friend, Kyle, he's got this school, selectied students only, and well, he's sleceted you. I think it'd be great if you went Vesi..."
"What... What about high school?" I asked
"I think this would be a great oppertionty for you, Vesi."
"I guess..." I said, hesintly, "Where is it?"
"Canada." I swear, my jaw droped to the floor.
"C-Canada?"
"I know it's far, but it's a great chance, Vesi. I want you to go, ok? Leave Espoo behind. Go to Namu. Learn,"
Yeah, Espoo was an acutal town. "You sure?"
"Positive. Now, go pack. One of the students will be coming to pick you up tomorrow." I gave my dad one last quick hug, and ran back upstairs, and began to pack... Once my couple of bags were full, it was night time, I wasn't hungry, so I just climbed into my wonderful bed, and drifted of to sleep.
"She can't know, not yet." Vesi's father said, to the man on the other end of the phone.
"I'm explaining to her once she get The Academy. She has the right to know. Besids, you know the classes, it would be... Unthinkable if she didn't know!" John (Vesi's father) was slient. He knew it was true, he couldn't let it happen. "You know Brooke would have wanted her to know." Kyle added softer, Brooke was his sister, and his best friends ex. wife. It was a toche subject for both of them.
"Fine." John caved, "But don't tell her everything at once. Tell her about the main things, then let her finger the rest out by herself. She needs to work that out by herself."

Hey, everyone, I'm not sure if I'm gonna continue this story after this month, if it get's good feedback, sure, but since it's really just for NaNoWriMo, I might not continue it, just telling you! But, I will be updating this one (hopefully) everyday-ish.
