"I don't have time for this brother. (Y/N) Is fine.....She just get bored." Loki said looking over some papers. Thor sighed, "Okay then brother....I have had a wonderful time being here 'with you' I hope we meet again soon" The thunder god said and left for his decent back to earth. (Y/N) looked out the window and pouted her uncle was now gone now she was pretty much alone. She just sat looking out the window for the rest of the day when the sun started to set (Y/N) felt sleepy and rubbed her eyes. She could hear her father's leather boots click together as he paced back and forth. (Y/N) ran to her bookshelf and smiled pulling her favorite book out (F/B) and ran down the stairs her (F/C) nightgown tripping her a bit. When she got down the stairs she stopped and saw her father reading over some papers. She held the book close to her chest and looked down wondering if she could speak or not. Finally her little voice piped up, "Papa?"
"what?"
"Will you read me a bed-time story?"
"Not now."
"B-But..."
"(Y/N) I'm busy! Go to bed!" He said coldly and looked over the papers. (Y/N) Had tears in her (E/C) orbs and ran up to her room slamming the door behind her. This loud bang pulled Loki from his work. "What?" He said before sighing the last bit of papers and setting them down he slowly made his way up to his daughters room. He was about to knock on the door when he could hear the sobbing sound of the small child. His heart shattered completely. He sighed and slowly walked into the child's room. "Little dove I..."
"Go..."
"E-Excuse me?"
"Go back to work! I wanna go sleep!"
"(Y-Y/N) I-I just..."
"I don't wanna talk I sleepy it's bed time go!" She said pretending to fall asleep. Loki sighed and looked down at her. What Thor was trying to tell him wasn't a lie his poor child was pitiful! His little princess was a lone and with how busy he had the nurse maid and other staff in the house she had no one to be around her. Loki gently pick up the girl but she didn't have the energy to fight back "(Y/N)....Have you been feeling lonely?"
"No..."
"don't lie to me little dove."
"Y-Yes....I-I never see you anymore....I-I never....I never do anything but stay in my room." (Y/N) Sobbed into Loki's chest as he held you close to him. "Now Now my child....There is no need to cry...I have been do busy with my work that I hadn't had time for you...can you forgive me?" He asked softly the small child nodded into his chest. "Do You still want me to read to you?" He asked the small child nodded and ran over grabbing (F/B) and running over to her father. She sat the book in his lap and crawled under the the sheets on her bed. "Okay then...this book again," he smiled and shook his head." He smiled seeing his child smile with that mischievous sparkle in his child beautiful (E/C) orbs. He opened the book and began to read and round the end (Y/N) Slowly drifted off into her sleep. Loki smiled and tucked her in placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "Goodnight Love" He said softly and walked back to his room. He sighed and looked at the photo he had of him and His wife. "I'm failing at a father my love....what must I do?" He asked the photo of you dead mother. When he didn't get a response he sighed and gently sat the photo down and laid in her bed another sleepless night that really didn't effect him.
